I need to put some laps in the 787, haven't touched it since saturday, lol.


Lol, looking at the results from Bombe, Senna placed last (to finish) at Indy, I was 2nd to last (to finish).... Grand Valley, He was first, I was 2nd.... Haha

How is testing for the battle for 2nd place going? I'd say 1st but Mav did a 1.42.235 so its the battel for 2nd if he shows. I just spent 2 hours tuning and shaved 2 seconds on a 70% effort lap

Me and Blaze are doing some laps at the moment. The clouds have come over so the track is cooler and tyres are lasting longer but what I noticed alot is the amount of low speed traction my new tune has. We did a grid start, him first, me second. My turn 1 I had about 2 or 3 car lengths over him. Basically if I keep my cool and don't crash then you won't overtake where your faster because its too narrow and my low speed traction and acceleration means you aren't near enough to overtake until your are using the brakes so its too late. Can't wait to battle with the GT-Ones at last

WOW. Amazing pictures. I am the one stop wonder!! And my racing nickname is now decided after a staggering majority ruling. It is 'The Flamingo'.

Also, worryingly, my low speed acceleration traction has disapeared so I need to look things through. Also, with a new set up, the wmajority of this week will be spent for me on GT5 testing tyre wear endlessly at Suzuka. If you can do it there then you can do it any where.

Also, the new seasonals and OCD are out. Rally and JGTC based OCD. British leightweights seasonals. BTW at Mt Aso, due to a mistake, 5th pays out 18,600 Cr, 6th pays out 164,000 Cr. They missed the extra 0

in the picture of me and mike in the tunnel it looks like my speed 8 is in full lock, drifting down the inside.....
 
Great pictures and descriptions to them as well. A real summary of the race for people who didn't attend (quite a lot, I see).

Also updated the spreadsheet now, with times and points and correct positions etc.

Got some practice in yesterday, only turning 1:47's at Suzuka, not the best times but my tuning aint great either. Anyone else try the GTONE?
 
Bloody hell such fantastic racing. God, I HATE examinations. Preventing me from being able to join in on the awesome. Maybe I could win a race or 2 :trouble:
 
Had some pretty good racing tonight. Learnt 3 things:

1) Mav is out of this world on speed

2) Beware of cold tyres on first lap. This is a good tip wherever we race but especially here where it plays a massive difference (for me anyway)

3) Don't go on the kerbs coming out of 130R. They are killers. Got on them for a second and spun 5 times and hit senna in the process.
