I had actually suspected Jam to win after watching the replay too, as I could see the entire top 3 broke some major rules regarding the penalties ... but maybe I hoped they would've just stayed as they were, 'cus they were the fastest guys nevertheless.

Fastest lap is impossible to decide, as I know the lap times under 3.22 must've been with cut, but I won't remove it from Johny's record.

I was just expecting to maybe move up a position or two. Not that it matters as Jamman would still be champion.

Anyway in reply to your teammate request I'll have wait and see. Maybe. I've already expressed some interest in maybe using the bentley. And I want to wait for the regulations to come out before I make my choice on car. I used to think my GT one relationship was unbreakable and I'd never change. Sadly this is no longer the case. I may still use it, I may not. Plus I can already confirm I've been contacted by a few drivers already by PM, PSN messages etc already expressing interest in being teammates. Well how bout I invite you to a test session tonight. We can test out the cars. I've yet to get the Bentley, but I have all the others. The BMW V12 seems like a nice car, more traction than the GT-One, but that's about it. Don't join the bandwagon of people using the Speed 8 in S4, you'll wipe the floor with everyone

I think I know why the Betley is so good, because it was pretty much an Audi R8 to begin with, but with a different shell. So, maybe that should be banned too? It does seem to be a cut above the rest. Anyone whose used the Speed 8 has had reasonable success ,even BK is often pretty quick with it

I think it would be nice to make some records in the season like Mercedes do in F1. We could be really OTT and do it exactly liek Mercedes (I posted a link on the last page with some of their findings) but it would be nice to know how many pit stops there were at each race and how many overtakes there were.

(Out of interest, how big would the penalty for pushing another driver into the pit lane on the lap after they pitter be?)

They were all awarded drive through penalty time (35 seconds). I was inside that to the leaders. You must have been out of that bracket. As you say it makes no difference to the championship winner (except he is now very happy to have won the biggest race, the Le Mans race, and won 3 in total this season ) but it may in other positions. I don't know, I'll let bombe work it out

No, you were just too slow to find out. The entire off-season was focused on whether any cars were faster or not. Since no one had no clear advantage, no rules against it. Besides, no Bentley won anyway, so it's not ruining anything.

Because BK's the only person whose used it and Maverick never showed up for a single race.

Strange how Le Mans is the one I don't care about since I dislike the circuit. Grand Valley and Laguna are the ones that I was most excited about and did best at (OK I didn't race Laguna due to connection issues but when I changed my turbo and found 2 seconds sudenly, I feel I could of been top 6/7, raicng Razor (or was it tissimo) to the bitter end

Your fastest lap was 3 seconds slower than Razor's average lap, so don't think you could've kept up with him

No difference in the standings after editing points, so it was just Jamman who got the glory of taking the title at Le Mans.

Huh? I was 5th and I'm still 5th. Bermuda please elaborate on this. I was also caught up in Jake's accident in the first few laps as you can see in one of the pictures in the group thread. It cost me a bunch of positions.

IMO The Bentley is the fastest in the corners. Its probably the best car, but only by .2-.5s In the end it comes down to consistency and mistakes.

At Laguna I really caught up n pace after changing to a high RPM turbo. I was within a second of the fastest and it was going to be good with my level of tyre wear but it was not to be

That sounds alot like me in off road rallycross in GT5. Woops. My bad. I'm always in the top one

How I know it's the best was that in the Pre season race at Daytona, the only 2 guys in Bentleys, Maverick and Vegasracer, we're very quick. Yes, they both are very quick guys, but I was following Maverick for a whole 3 laps in the qualifying race, and that Speed 8 was just very well planted and quick. I don't want to be following a trend with using that car, in fact I think it should be banned before we get an entire bandwagon of people looking to use it, or the few who do get to use it be in a class of their own. Technically it is an Audi R8. But it's all up to BK, and, considering he uses it too, it's not happening

If we're talking street circuits, let's do Monaco. My favourite track in the game, and i've lapped that track maybe hundreds of times, it may not provide overtaking opportunities, but it's sure as hell fun, and i'd make sure to win it

But if we're taking more tracks for Season 4, Nurburgring GP is an absolute must. Fuji is nice, but it's not very interesting in terms of corners. If only the 1990 track was in the game, or hell high speed 1980's. Good overtaking opportunities though, but with GT5's super drafts, ti may be too many overtaking opportunities. If it had weather change though, it'd be fantastic. I'd also recommend Autumn Ring, good track layout. Tokyo is nice for racing too, but too drafty.
