Yep HD. It's a Samsung and got it for only 179.99 pounds! I don't like playing on big TV's and I suck at playing racing games on them lol. I hope I can be quicker but I feel I go the same speed as before. (lucky for you :p). I really hope PSN is back up before Saturday so I can kick all your butts. :D

Lol as long as Maverick and AS are there I don't think I'll worry too much about that :D
 
I'd love to get in this, if there's room. I had an idea that maybe you could do a bonus race for a few laps at a created track? Just my opinion or suggestion. If there is room than let me know as I see there's quite a few on reserve as well.
 
guys, I know how to make the first race special. We run a one lap race after quali where one guy drives the pace car. Would make for a great photo shoot. Have the pace car pull into the pits and all and then let the lead cars fly to the end. Then we run the actual race after, with our usual procedure of no pace car. You know, just to get a good set of photos. It would also be quite good if we get all the cars lined up at the pit straight of Le Mans in about 4 a row and 4 rows back. Then take a good photo of that to get all the cars in the series all in one place. But try to mix it up so it is very diverse looking i.e. no two like cars by each other.

EDIT: another idea. Possibly a non-championship race for all the people that are unsuccesful at reaching the series in full, only as reserve. Then get people from the championship to get 2nd priority in that race but get a good race for the reserves. Can't let 'em get rusty now

I like the idea of a race for reserves.

if BK accept that i will run as Safety Car with my Skyline GT-R Pace Car, very good idea though!

Like it matters. Depends on the track that's being raced on. If it's going to be on the pre-season track, which is daytona right?, then count me out of the race. I'll be the pace car for it.

(Lol, fighting to be a pace car) I know I'm listed as a racer but depends on the track. My skills are extremely limited. As in i can improve there but will never be able to drive there. Such as Daytona. Never could I get that track right.

Well, if psn comes back up... I'm going to have to miss this weekends preseasons race. Something came up and will won't be available this weekend.

I did this too. It had pages you have posted in and loads of the pictures from my Eco series. Did it for my PSN too and it had a picture from LBP 1 that me and two of my mates took on top of the POD controller. Intriguing picture. I didn't even know there was a site called lbp.me but you should try my PSN as well
 
So qualifying laps in this series start when you enter the room, and the quali race determines your start order?

So basically when I go in I want to start running fast laps right away to determine my quali race grid position.

Yeh i got intrigued by it so I've done it for most people in the series. I seem to be the only one with GT ones, banners, Logos, season 2 results, posts on GT planet and CM forums splattered all over the first page. I, Jamman48 am famous. It's also got a random picture of MU's 908 lol. All you other guys are there too but I had to go a few pages down to find your cars and pictures from the series. But people like BermudaKID, MU and razor didn't have many but a few.

I tried EliteDreamer and didn't get anything. but daibaspeed had few results but almost all involving this series. all but one. BermudaKID's "profile" pics from Season 2 are in there.

Well actually there was one benefit to this PSN breakdown. Ive actually had a lot of time to study for my AP exams

Like bombe said a source would be nice. I was just watching the F1 practice from today in reverse order (as you do) on BBC red button. Firstly, everyone should get the F1 2011 live timing app. It is so good. Kept checking it at school just to see what was happening and because it said Vettel crashed, I really want to see FP1 which is on now. Don't know how the track dried so fast and dont know if the session got delayed.

But no, what I was thinking about is, wouldn't it be great if GT5 allowed you to change the level of tire degredation. Wouldn't it be great to find your tires going off to quickly. Tissimo wouldn't want it as there would probably be a repeat of his Daytona race. Oh well, for now, I'm holding out in hope for PSN today but I doubt it. As long as we get to race :)
 
trust me, if i could change the level of tire degradation in GT5 i would do it in a heart beat. Thats why i wish online had a pitstop option or tire change option.

I do remember reading someone on the Playstation website they said psn would be back up this week.. i dont think its going to happen though seeing how today is friday, and it hasnt happened yet.
 
PSN needs to be back up soon. Surely Sony have viewed this thread and realized poor old us can't suffer without racing for another week. :sly:

Our alternative is to go to Florida and do some split-screen racing then, lol ;)

Or we could run the GTP Le Mans Prototype Time Attack Substitute Extravaganza. You get the idea. Unrestrict everything and jut drive at a cicuit that is in the game until you get bored and call out to everyone out in the series about how boring time attack is compared to racing

Also, I bear good news. If you have a PSP you will be able to download 2 of 4 possible games for free at your own choice. If you have a PS3, you can download 2 of 5 possible games at your choice. This sounds like good news. Hopefully the list will bee good.

Now, if you excuse me, I have to go and smash my Driving Force GT up every time I fail to acheive gold at both Suzuka and Nurburg in the X Vettel challenge. I have nothing better to do. Just wish I could stay calm.
