Also, autumn ring is a hell of a lot of fun to do with LMP's. Great for testing, probably great for a short race. But since it's so short, a long race would be tiring.

Oh, one more thing...
Why don't you guys make custom tracks using toscana or eifel circuit [i think aso is too short] to run in the series or at least to test on?

Autumn Ring is way too small.

And custom tracks - I don't think a single good custom tracks exists in the world. Seriously, what were PD thinking?
 
So I see the poll has closed and 4pm and 8pm (for us Brits) has won the vote. So does that now mean one of those times will be the time for season 5?

Earlier in the thread he said that the poll was just a survey. Nothing is set in stone yet.

120 laps. And no-one won. I said I wanted to do LMP so golfer found it best to generate a random track and race M3's round it. I punished his ignorence by ramming him :sly:
 
I think Autumn Ring would be an excellant addition to the calender. It offers such a massive mental challenge.
 
I's a fun track, but not suited for these cars. Too short and small, and not enough overtaking spots.


Also, please let it be 4pm US, otherwise my career is over. I won't be able to, under any circumstances, make 11pm.

No. It means that the best drivers would avoid running off etc. I mean turns 3,4,5,6 are just so epic to put together. You have to be giving it 100% agresion.

And Peter, Abu Dhabi is allowed in F1 and they can't overtake there

Pardon me, I meant 3pm US, and 11am US. 3pm is perfect timing, and anything before 2pm US is a no go, as I have classes.

Don't compare a real life series, with actual cars, people and money, to an online series in a video game. Formula 1 is a business. The GTP Le Mans Series is an online racing series solely for fun.

Exactly. F1 has lost sight anyway. Nowadays it's about making a huge paddock area, a luxury hotel, great accommodation, a spa and treatment area, several huge buildings and a big souvenir shop, and then finally makeing any old shaped track to fit in and between all of it :yuck:

GT5 doesn't have such problems ;)

They might as well be for the viewiers. I mean Abu Dhabi is a perfect example. They had a completely flat mass area of land to build any kind of circuit they wanted on it but after adding Ferrari world and wanting to make it go under the Yas Marina hotel, and go along the side of the water etc, they screwed it up just to make it look good. Don't get me wrong it looks brilliant but for two years running there has been 2 boring races. When they could've done anything with it :yuck:

I've hired the Stig to do some lap times for several LMP's .

I will share the results and it will influence car ballast & HP
