The Fanatec Club Sport wheel will be 450$ US. plust about another 150 depending on which quick release wheel you get. I just dont understand why no xbox support

I don't understand that either, but the G27 ALSO doesnt have xbox support, which confuses me immensely. G27 is USB and works on a PC, why not xbox?

meh how do u know i'm not doin a bk... this was my time after a couple of laps..nurburgring i must have done 100s to perfect it.. due to all the sprint races plus i put down a good 60 on my own... plenty of speed in reserve

Which is exactly the same scenario I had. Few laps as well I've clocked up so far.
 
u did the 9 hour race? and u have done it on F1.. i didnt bother on F1

Rain or dry, i'm tipping BK or Jam to win. I'm below 1:47, so, if it doesn't rain, hopefully, I could be a dark horse for victory, or a podium. Jake says he's awful here, the 787B's don't seem to work too well here.

If it rains, though, it's a tossup. Anyone can win. I'll use traction control at the weather change races, just to be safe, that should help my speed here, where TC seems to be the better way around this track, as well as tyre wear, and above all else, consistency. I think i'm pretty ok in the rain, I remember doing around a few seconds a lap faster at La Sarthe in the rain than anyone else in the 4 hour race a while back.

BK we need to figure out a lap number for La Sarthe that encourages different pit strategies. Like I love the lap number 24, but will everyone pit on 8 and 16? Maybe someone could do 6 12 and 18? I'm not sure.

Also, are you guys planning on ditching GT5 for F1 2011? If there's no season 5, I'm going to be pretty disappointed. I'm talking to YOU, Jamman, BK, Golfer, Amf, etc etc. lol. If everyone bails I'm sure I'll just have to buy it, granted we could put together races any time from Thursday night EST through Monday Noonish EST.

Yea, their will be a happy balanced, maybe .....F1 2011 80 %/ GT5 20%

There will still be running Season 5. now when forza 4 comes out their may not be enough percentage for all 3. Tissimo / Allin / Mike46 will continue to be the head of the night series though

regardless you should get F1 2011 anyway.

** there seems to be some questions about lapped drivers. If your not on the lead lap and a lead driver catches you, you just need to allow them by, you can lift off , or stay wide or you can continue on the racing line it doesnt matter, You just need to let the other driver through the first safest point. - Once they go by dont try to pass them again or race against them for position on track. There is no need to pull off the track. Its still and overtake by the other driver, they dont get to ramm backmarkers off the track either.

Now some of you will say, "Oh but im am faster - I'm trying to get my lap back. " most of the time thats a load of Bull****. If a lead driver passes you and and now 1/2 a lap later a backmarker is trying to pass, the draft is helping your lap times and "YOUR PACE" is still slower. Now if a backmarker catches a leader who was already ahead of them and now the lead lap driver is pacing slow ( to save tires or on cruise or w/e ) - Then you may overtake them and get the lap back. [ You will know when this happens you will be Draft distance + X amount of seconds behind a driver and you slowly catch back up to and make it back into their draft and then you pass them and pull a gap. ]

My aim for Suzuka is a top 6 finish now that I've had a good amount of time in the 787. Maybe pushing it though considering I was running 9th I think until I got disconnected but you should always aim high! :sly:

Of course if it rains then everything is completely screwed up.

Hi Famine, I realise we are very off topic so I'm going to get us back on track.

What is a good lap time to be running at Suzuka. Last season with 680 I think it was 1.42s? Or 1.44s? Something similar. This is a circuit where it is more about corners than power so I don't think it will be much slower.

Also, I have started playing with image editing so watch out for what I pull out of the bag for a photo in a couple of weeks (maybe to celebrate if I win at SSR5).

I am also going to be using a special version of my helmet at SSR5. It is similar to my all yellow helmet but it is gold.

Well, Fuji, I missed qualifying and got hit in the race, and at the Nurb, I got hit in qualifying and in the race.

I've said a million times, i've got the pace, but i'm just far too inconsistent to do anything with it outside of qualifying.
 
1:46s are possible @Suzuka, 47's seem normal. 48's a bit slow, hopefully I'll make it in time for the qualifying race. Which is BS last weekend that BK couldn't fill me in he opened a room when I'd been waiting. It's all good though, I was running fudged settings anyway.
