GTPlanet & LS 4x4 Crew's Friday Night Car Show Details:​

Time:
Friday 10:00pm EST | 2:00pm AEDT (Australia)

Meet Location:
Vespucci Beach Parking Lot
(North of the Pier - see map)

Cars Allowed:
OPEN to Cars, Trucks, SUV's, Motorcycles
(Please try to keep it reasonable and in good taste)

Show/Cruise Notes:
- Show location is the west side of the parking lot -
- Car show lasts for approximately 30-45 minutes -
- Between 10:30 & 10:45 (EST) we'll head out on the cruise -
- Traffic laws WILL be obeyed (including stop lights) -
- Keep a safe distance between each car to avoid collisions -
- Please refrain from attracting the attention of the police -
- Anyone that causes a ruckus will be asked to leave and/or kicked -
- Stops for photo opportunities are marked on the map with camera symbols -
- Mics not required but recommended -

I'll be there, a good location would be the wax museum by the theater, there is plenty of parking and a nice mural in the background for pics.
 
I'll scout the locations tonight. I had a couple in mind, one is in-doors, but it could get quite dark in there if the sun is down. I'll check out the wax museum too.

Anyone? Not sure what happened last weekend but I want to participate in one of these before GT6 comes around and I won't be home this weekend. So, I'd like to do one on Friday night around 8pm MST, 10pm EST (around 2pm in Sydney, Australia?) Unfortunately it's a bit late for the European folks but nothing I can do about that.

And I'm so in! Dayum, another good location is the big parking lot by the beach, or the docks.

If this turns into a weekly thing you should consider a theme for each one, like muscle, import, super etc, would add more variety since everyone has a chrome Adder :lol:
 
How about the roof of any parking lot?
 
That's what I was thinking. Top of a car park or something similar.

If I have nothing else going on I'd like to attend one.

Are you making a new club or just asking about a car show? If it's the former, are your rules the same?
 
Just doing a one-off car show.

I just ask that people behave themselves and have some taste with car modifications. ;)
 
I'll be there, but I probably won't be able to use my headset since it's too late at night. I'm gonna bring my Rat-Loader.

Hey @R1600Turbo there is an avenue next to one of the entries of the Movie Studio (central one in LS) where there's a 4/5 level parking lot. It looks decent with decent space for a Car Show. Since I'm at work right now, I can't take pics of it. I think it would be good, but as well there's a pretty good parking lot next to the Union Depository which I believe has way more space than the 1st one I mentioned, but it's a little bigger (7 levels if I'm not mistaken). I could take pics later of those two places.
 
Well we can only get 16 people in a room, so we don't really need a multi-story car park. I've already narrowed it down to a couple locations, just figuring out the cruise we'll take afterwords.
 
I might be able to make it. I may have to bring my favourite Muscle car. :)
 
I think I changed my mind about my Sultan. I might bring my Surfer or Sabre Turbo.

I'm in the GTP crew, all I have to do is just make it my active crew.
 
Yeah same, but not everyone (like Subarglue) would be able to do that.

You are able to host closed crew sessions with a limit of 2 crews.

So if I set it this way and you are a member of either the GTP or LS4x4 crews you should be able to get in?

Yes, star is the beach parking lot which is listed in the OP as the meet location. ;)
 
Can't wait for tonight. I'm just hoping that we can have a nice, mature, and friendly cruise.
