Topics I'd like to see, though some might need to be phrased better.

Are oil companies price gouging?

What is patriotism?

Is American foreign policy the primary cause of the dangers against it?

Who's position is better supported by logic, typically conservative or liberal ones (American focused)?

Who was the greatest war strategist or general ever?

Did Richard III kill his nephews?

Is pacifism viable?

Sometimes you just have to keep your comments that belittle other people to yourself. And trying to cover yourself up afterwards makes you look like more of an idiot.

Also, waiting until AFTER Wednesday would be most agreeable. Wednesday is the busiest day of the week for me. But, if not then it's cool.

Edit: Should the judges get together (perhaps in a private setting so the competitors will not read) and discuss our judging criteria? (what to look for, how much to penalize for misinformation, etc.)
 
Yay Team A with Duke. This should be nice :), I would like PM's sent out to us when things become final, keeping up with this thread is kinda hard.

I'd hate to PM back and forth with eachother about what we as a group will base our judging on. It shouldn't be to difficult for us to find a way to all communicate together. A small AIM chatroom would do the trick. A Yahoo! room even would fair nicely. I think it'd be best to congregate once we find what the debate issues are at hand.

Any final word on who is coming up with the questions the teams will mass-debate over?

I propose that we keep all relevant information (such as team names, team members, debate matchups, bracket information, schedule, rules, etc.) all on the front page.

I must say that I'm very happy with the team I am with. Both danoff and live4speed are excellent debaters. 👍

As for mass-debating, I have no clue :nervous:
