Nothing new I can bring, but I'd never seen the Bo Rap thread or the Titanic thread before. They're fantastic.

The weekly photo shop & manga car competitions used to be huge. I alsoo remember when Duke was Neon_Duke.

The Grand Theft Auto forum was also really busy.
 
A couple of the mod's changed their names, Kent used to be Go Kents, I remember when he used to run the WRS.
 
I'm almost 3 years old on GTP but I still feel green.

Great thread. I don't have much time on this forum (bit of a Jack Bauer moment there), but some of these old threads/moments are great.
 
What's this "Colour Blue" everyone keeps talking about? I must be too green to know. I did a search but came up with really broad results. What was it?

My fight with milefile on my birthday a few years ago brings back memories... I was a little hot headed sometimes back then. Whoops. Also, The thread/cartoons that snoopie made about the kiwi bird and sage was classic. Oh and hey, Cloits!

I remember when Duke and Der Alta and Doug and Christiaan and Klos and Giles and everybody else used to actually post in the GT3 forum (lordy!).

There was DessViper, ViperConcept, Viperthis and Viperthat…

Christiaan bought the second-gen iPod – he was probably the first on this forum with an iPod.

Oh, this is a long shot, but does anybody remember Troy? He made my first custom avatar, and was the one who introduced me to instant messaging – too bad he did a few stupid things and got himself banned.

More recently, when everybody started vectorizing cars.

And the day everybody used the Joshua Tree avatar.

Subliminal Coke messages, courtesy of Klos.

The first GTP Awards, eventually leading to Der Alta’s moderatorship.

PunkRock’s car getting stolen, PunkRock’s car getting crashed (damn, you unlucky man you!).

Doug going to the hospital and placed in a full body cast, just to find out several years later that it was part of the most elaborate hoax ever.

The Hot or Not section of GTP, back when it had those colorful tabs at the top.

Oh, that reminds me – the backwards Porsche! :lol:
 
Wow this place has a lot of strange history...especially the s13drifting guy did anyone else notice he was the starter of about 4 out of the first 5 threads mention in the funny thread thread? lot of banned members
 
The time Famine got corrected by someone! :D

I forget who and what the correction was about, but reading it has stayed in my mind ever since. :lol:

Yeeeah, that's what I was trying to remember. I remembered that something happened with those avatars, besides Doug's series of different Joshua Tree variations throughout his entire GTP tenure.




What ever happened to Timmotheus? Wasn't he a classmate of yours, Sage?

And anyone remember Robin?
