There does appear to be some issues with the content delivery network at the moment. I've reached out to the hosting company for more information, so hopefully we can get it resolved soon. Sorry for the trouble.

This have anything to do with the reason why GTP on my screen just went haywire? (large fonts, missing graphics, etc)

I'm using the app and everything's works fine for me except the news page takes a while to load. 👍

Lol ya I noticed this problem last night. I was about I post something and it seemed sort of strange than I posted and it got real strange.

Yes, if it looks anything like the other screenshots in this thread.

My hosting company has just confirmed the issue with their content delivery servers, but they're having trouble tracking down the problem. There are 20 of these servers around the world, and your requests for these files will be routed to the one that's the "closest" to you, so all of us are getting serviced by different machines. This is one explanation as to why only some of you are having problems.

If you guys could please share information about your web browser and post your traceroute results to cache.gtpla.net, I can pass this data along to the engineers.

Also, when you guys are experiencing these problems, could you also take a look at ForzaPlanet and let me know how it works for you?

Just had the same problem, persisted for about 2 minutes and then changed back to normal.

EDIT: Now suffering the same problem again.

Thanks for the reports, guys. Please run trace routes to cache.gtpla.net, not www.gtplanet.net.

It's been off and on all morning.

By the time I went and checked forzaplanet.net, *it* looked correct, and then gtplanet went back to looking correct too.

As the problem seems to be increasing in severity today while the hosting company works on this, I have updated the site's templates to serve the CSS files directly from GTPlanet's primary web server. Images, such as avatars, smilies, and icons, may still not load correctly on occasion today, but at least the formatting, colors, and fonts should remain in tact.

EDIT: The hosting company believes the problem has been fixed, so I've updated the templates again to server the CSS from the content delivery servers. Let me know if you continue to see any problems over the next few hours.

Has anyone experienced issues within the last 3 hours or so?

Does GTPlanet load any slower/faster than ForzaPlanet? Do any sites load particularly fast for you?

@Jordan, it does the same thing GTP does, and just as slow. All other websites work fine.

I get this on both sites (GTP and FP), and sometimes avatars don't show and some other textures I get the little box with the shapes in it). Oh this happens on all browsers I use (IE9, Chrome, Firefox). The pictures everyone else is posting used to happen to me all the time a little over a month ago. Now I get this:

Unfortunately, I'm almost out of ideas, Slash. Are you running any sort of proxy server or security software? Does this occur with every computer or device that you use to access the site via an affected Internet connection? Do you recall, when, exactly, you first began to experience these issues?

The site running slow for anyone else right now? I just got a "timed out" message as well.

Edit: Seems to be working fine now. :odd:

It's been in and out for the last couple hours. I just had it slow again, but now it seems fine. I know it's not my internet because when I go to other sites they work fine.

I can confirm there was a brief issue shortly before you posted your message, but everything is running fine at the moment.
