A Themed Car Meet Sponsored by igotSTANCE.

EDIT:
What I plan for STANCE R US (If I decide to keep that name):
- I'll make an interesting custom track so that people can just Cruise and Touge.
- Make a straight long enough for small Drag races.
- Then at the end of the Cruise there will be a Drift section, but only for the experienced since I don't want people crashing all over, I need people to be sensible.
- Finally Start the Race, so that everyone can pull into a selected area not to race, but to park up for a photoshoot to update GTP.
- There will be a theme for each meet...
More info to come.

Comments please?

@ Taz, Finally a Panda MR2! :D Nicee ;D

:D I was waiting for it to show in the UCD, but it was taking to long. So I asked a friend to look out for one for me, and I got lucky he had one.

Also loving the night time shots from you and Tazj.

Thanks Kievit I was only planning to take about 4 pics but ended up with 20 :dopey:

Hi all at GTP,

NEWS UPDATE ON ''FRESH AS FLUSH'' EVENTS/SHOWS

Since the first one was a big hit i'm going to be hosting one per week.

Improvements/Upgrades being made are :

The first event was held on the Special Stage Route 7, I've since decided that its moving to a bigger track. There's a few reason's behind this :

Members getting board as SSR7 is a small track with not much to do on it.
Not many places to park apart from the turns to show/chill/chat, etc.
Its a night time track which is great for setting the mood & stuff but not other things. So a move to a day time track is needed i think.

Idea's planned :

Since a day time track is needed for part of the event i'm thinking about using - Circuit de la Sarthe (change time/weather) .
Another thing using the above track is that members in the lobby could cruise from one mini meet to another.
Which brings me onto - Mini Meets within the lobby.Mini Meets would be on car make or model groups.Nissan group , Mercedes group and so on.

Peoples thoughts on the above idea's would be very much welcome good or bad.

Thanks

Jay (PSN -jwesson1)

''FRESH AS FLUSH'' UPDATE/NEWS

Location : Circuit de la Sarthe (change time/weather)

Event is now to be held on Circuit de la Sarthe (change time/weather) .
The reason behind this as of yesterdays news update is so members in the lobby can cruise from one mini meet to the next. The cruising to the mini meets is to bring an element of freeroam to gt5 and my event.

The mini meets :

The mini meet groups can park on the wide turns , 1 group per turn please.
These will be by country then manufacturer. So German hour - BMW group , Japanese hour - Nissan group.Etc
These will change by the hour.

Cruising / Cruises :

Full lobby cruise will be every hour on the hour. After cruise will be car change.
Cruising from meet to meet , please keep it clean and friendly , also try not to race around as there will be groups on the turns so try not to crash into the parked cars.
Full lobby cruises will be done by myself (jwesson1) , E6boi and Coronet440 thoughtout the night,
The speed limit for the full lobby cruise is 85MPH / 135KPH .Anyone not doing the speed limit will be given a warning over the chat system,Failing to do so afterwards results in you being KICKED from the lobby.

Any reports of misbehavior will be investigated and appropriate action taken.

UPDATES DAILY.

Thanks

Jay - (PSN -JWESSON1)

Shaan777 - Next one hopefully will be on the Saturday 5th May 2012 at 8pm UK time.

Trial Mountain Circuit by kvin_lo, on Flickr

I hope I didn't ruin an American classic. :scared:

I watched Wheeler Dealers the other day and they bought an '84 Corvette C4 for only..... 2100Ā£!! :dopey:
Man... If only I was staying in the UK I'd be crusing in this classic.

Cool fact: The 1984 C4 Corvette had a digital speedometer, pretty cool for a car from the '80 won't you say?

Yeah, was taking it out to trial mountain for some shots but found myself at the hill. :sly:

The tires actually went through the fender but I edited that. :scared:

Here in the UK, I dont know about anywhere else but Insurance is just 🤬 ridiculous money.. some cars are pretty cheap though. :)

I see, I don't know about Insurance cause I don't own a car yet. :sly: The Road Tax here is pretty expensive though, counted based on the displacement of your car's engine. :scared: So for that C4 Corvette with the 5.7L V8, would cost a couple thousand bucks here. :scared: :scared: :scared:

Holy crap that looks awesome. More static photos of this please!

Thanks! Looks like it's time to go for a cruise again.

I've posted it it before, but I think it truly belongs here. No hill tricks or PS here, I just adjusted the colouring using Google+
