Looks like ill be missing this weekend, girlfriend wants to go to the fair. See everyone at the nurburgring.
 
Well that's a shame. At least Madrid was postponed or you would have to miss the Nürburgring.

- Daytona
- Le Mans
- Nürburgring
- Monza
- Any race over 250k
 
So we'll be giving Madrid another shot tomorrow evening. Would anyone object to doing a single file start instead of double file to reduce the odds of turn 1 carnage?

Excellent idea, Id rather do that every race. 👍 I have a feeling there will be enough carnage at Madrid anyway. :scared:

The rest of the tracks have long enough straights / wide enough first turns that starts shouldn't give too much of an issue.

Room for the Madrid race will be up in a few minutes. Qualifying will begin at half past the hour (40 minutes from now) with the race immediately after. The whole 'weekend' should take under an hour. See you there!
 
Well, that race was chaotic, to say the least. Thanks to everyone to came, results will come once they're finalized.

My apologies to Fish for the damage on the pace lap, my car did not turn when my steering wheel did. :dunce:
 
Its gonna rain racefan. My race was completely ruined by 2 gt300 drivers on 3 separate occasions. If you are incapable of following rules or just think this is a joke, please do not show up on race day. The rest of us are running for points and don't need people that don't care ruin our day. My vote is in for mic's being disabled. I cannot believe we had to listen that crap the whole race. Great win Redbull, I didn't really have much for ya I guess.

I agree 100%. It seemed like trying to run a serious race with 2 guys playing bumper cars and chatting during the whole race. The mic issue was bad at le sarthe too, mics disabled would also cut down on connection/lag issues. I almost just quit on about the second lap, but figured I'd just keep running and get what points I could. I have no idea how I ended up second in class after that start.

Good racing to those who came tonight. Shame how chaotic it was. I will admit that I used my microphone in order to call out to lapped cars and prevent a wreck and I did get a little chatty towards the end. Sorry if that affected anyone's race and I will try to limit my usage to race related chatter only. Good racing Sassafrass the first couple of corners were sketchy. Got a sick shot out of it though!​

That was fun race first 17 lap then it was all pain. Next race is my last one in this series - i had enough incidents.
My plan for the race was run non pitstop race but endup with 4 pitstop :(
Ok race time isn't good for me either.

I feel for you! I just shut all drivers mics (muted) so i didn't hear anything during the race.

I still plan on allowing the use of mics. They're useful when lapping other cars or when being lapped, plus it's nice to have someone to talk to in the longer races. If you don't want to hear the mics, mute people before the race begins.

The race results are not final yet, I still have a few incidents to review. They may not come until later in the week, I have some schoolwork that needs done.
 
I will probably be practicing for the nurburgring tonight if anyone wants to join around 10 pm est
