Aww hell, I guess I'll have to take my car out to the track this year. I never got the chance with the Del Sol.

But in the mean time and even though it doesn't count, I like to show off my cousin's 14.53 @ 93.xx mph in his 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS Supercharged. Limited slip FTW.
Scratch that. A torque damper and a gutted catalytic converter has brought that down to 14.25 @ 99.36 mph. I can get proof of that for anyone doubting the nearly stock SS.

I guess that's the supercharger showing. Current Si's run lowish 15s stock (on relatively bad all seasons though), higher 14s from powershifters (read: idiots). A few bolt ons and the torque dampener (wheel hop is bad on the Civics) should make a good match to the SS S/C.

:D

When will the Merc be doing it?

Sold it last year. Besides, an auto on a quarter mile? The only thing I could change would be the reaction times.

Proof for the Volvo:

Did a 12.24secs at 116mph at Santapod, UK in my Pulsar GTi-R 4wd.

I spend more time doing trackdays, the car was never built for drag as its a 4wd rally hatchback but it still gets off the line very quickly. Has about 350bhp and weighs 1190kg, not bad for 4wd full interior car.

Check out my site if your interested in THEORY 1/4mile times and also check the performance calculator and stat lists for 0-100mph etc, It is a UK based site, and it will have a complete revamp soon:

I don't think you can advertise your site in your post.

er?...its a link to my site that is just a bit of fun, very useful and fairly unique that the users of this titled thread would be very interested in for comparisions, it took me ages to come up with formulas for 0-100's etc (and therefore lists of theory figures) and I am pretty proud of them (what ever you make of them) and its certainly not a company but just a personal interest of mine, so its hardly advertising a business (the top banners are only fake) or anything that makes money.

:)
