My parents had indeed seen this tab open, dad successfully whammed me while we were opening gifts.

He was disappointed to learn I'd already lost the game, and vowed to get me next year. Lets hope he forgets. :)
 
Getting Cover Whammed at the moment, but I frankly could care less about hearing the actual again since I'm already out.
 
I was whammed several times without knowing it - no explanations required for those who followed my story.
And then that dastardly @Johnny1996 let me know that I was actually whamming myself by whamming me.

I can't believe I made it through Xmas day without hearing 'ol Georgie (only 3 hours where I was 'plugged in'), one more Xmas gathering tonight and that should be that!
 
Well done to everyone who made it, I was Whammed a further two times this week including Xmas day when we had MTV Xmas on with and Christmas countdown, Last Christmas was at number 5 I think, lost count of how many times I've been Whammed now, must be 14, glad this game is over has I have been killed to death!

Wham! no. 5 for me is ongoing right now.
It really does sound like poison.

Edit: It's happening in a pub. Should I really fall out with the idea of going to pubs just to avoid 1 song? It kind of seems worth it in some ways but I do love the pubs. I love the wife infinitely & she loves the pubs too so I'm pretty much trapped into annual Wham!mings.

Well, look it this way. You can at least drink away the sorrows of hearing Wham! when you go, so if that's where you hear it all the time, make sure you have beer money ready to fork over when you hear the song.
 
And here I am, a non-participant, still Wham-free. My dad is still wham-free too.

inb4 "deaf = cheat" logic since I spent a solid 32 hours in retail this last week and didn't hear the song once. It helps that one job doesn't play music at all.
 
Back from my Christmas trip.

Didn't get whammed while I was there.

Funny how the person who does the complete opposite of the recommendations (in terms of trust) is still surviving. :D
 
I was whammed again by George & Andrew last night, but this time it was a dance remix.
 
Whammed myself just now as i like the song, and my daughter seems to like it too as she's dancing here :P
 
While none of my friends are on GTP, they are in on this game and hate the song with a burning passion. So Im pretty safe in that area.

That's basically GTPspeak for "Wham me at all costs because I feel invincible. Come at me bros-challenge accepted".
 
I'm not an official contestant, but I haven't been Whammed at all as of yet. Heck, I might as well participate next year... Although something tells me that if I participate I'll be whammed just short of a minute later, and not even by another GTP user. :lol:
