Same thing here, but I've inccurred enough infractions to know that they don't include warning at the end of those, plus, I had no points added...


Good try though, I'd rate it 7/10.

So I have been Wammed 3 times since my official knockout.

1. I Wammed myself the way my dad did by switching radio stations constantly (like father like son I guess.)

2. At a convenience store when I was grabbing lunch.

3. @Jordan - 'nuff said.

Got a PM from @Jordan I was like "Oh my god, I got hacked??!!!" and I'm trying to plead that it wasn't me. Only then did think "Wait a minute, what is that video?" Tried to play it and thanks to my crappy internet, nothing happened so I pasted it in one of the video downloaders and only then through the thumbnail was the deception revealed :lol:

So yeah, I just survived the mass whamming by PM. Nice Job @Jordan , My heart about jumped out of my chest :lol:

Same thing happened to me but then I saw everyone say nice try Jordan and realized what it was. I mean, I was already out, but damn, heart attack averted! :lol:
 
Good thing I was out of the game already otherwise I would've had the same thing. Sounds like a pretty lame-duck attempt compared to 2014 though.

Must try harder @Jordan. :lol:
 
I like the way he did it though. Some people would think that their account got hacked, then they'd want to know what in the post caused the infraction, and in trying to figure it out, they get Whammed. Profit.

I was reading the post in question. That is how I was tipped off. I muted my monitor and played the video anyways to confirm my hunch.

EDIT: Plus it helps that I know that I am a member of extremely good standing.
 
So.. that was Whammassacre 2015? Didn't fall for it. Really good job, though. If I had brought my laptop charger, I'd be done for the first time in GTP history.
 
Although I've been Whammed! 4 times by now, I still hope that I don't recieve that message aswell, lol.
And with that, find a better way how to Wham! me again @Jordan, and:

Forgot to mention; might want to add my dad to the Whammed User Log. He listened to the video for me to check what it exactly was.

I commend his sacrifice.
 
I'm just sitting here. Wondering why I didn't get one. Even though I've already been whammed.
 
I must say, at first I freaked out, but then I realized I have a pretty good memory of what I have and haven't posted recently, and my survival instincts say that viewing a video sent by @Jordan on December with sound on is a bad idea.

So I did not. :cool:
 
I actually posted a thread about the warning, I actually thought it was a false warning that done accidentally...

The thread was immediately removed so I went to the main page and noticed the status post and realized that it was a wham! Attempt...

I was close to being whammed but glad I wasn't interested in watching that clip and just went to check if my phone (not really) is muted...

Nice try Jordan but i'm still un-whammed...yet...

Exactly what I did, but I guess I was even slower, because I contested it, without even watching the video. Good God, that was colse. Nice one @Jordan
 
My volume was off the whole time. ;)

I will say though, that I was worried until I saw the upload date of the video, which was on December 7th. I rarely posted anything this month but I caught on after I scrolled through the time bar on the video itself. Then I saw a familiar face from a familiar thread and I knew right then and there what he attempted. :lol:

You can Wham! the world but you can't Wham! me.
 
Love how two years in a row, something crappy saved me :lol: Last year, my computer froze on the video @nascarfan1400 made right at the part where it read "Wham!" :lol:

Now I'm just hoping the neighborhood doesn't get me in another drive-by whamming.
 
I'm not gonna let me guard down more than I may have already did though. After all, there could be a round 2 to this.
