Unless I completely misunderstood what we talked about with Detroitbb :scared:, I think that Detroitbb forgot to add is : "from our lists"... it should have been

"What we are going to do is have each of you choose one combo from our lists that you'd like us to run in an upcoming weekly challenge."

That being said, if we thought that it would be better for you to have a list to choose from it is because we both experienced having some WTACers rather spending time running than actually spending their time thinking about their own combo -we fully understand-, we hope you don't think we want to be exclusive... We actually like when you guys come up with your own idea ! We just have one rule though : trying to find an interesting and fun challenge with cars we haven't run with yet -or only one time or twice and they are special ones- at a track that allow the cars -drivers- to be pushed in a good way !

So, asking you about which cars combo you like was a way to involve you in the process without being too much time consuming for you or too much trouble so that you can focus on other things you like to do. .

Now that I see that Spiral and you pvr77 are proposing your own challenge, that's great news for us too ;) !

So why one combo from you first ? One session 48 points, max 12 points a challenge, one session = 4 weeks. However, with the new battle between Spiral and Dan360, we thought we should think about 6 weeks challenges. 1 is already on, 5 weeks to prepare. red ice, Dan360, Spiral, pvr77 : + 4weeks = 5 weeks total. Detroitbb already have selected two of his own and I already have chosen mine in case we need another week. The other possible combos would be used for session 2 !

Seeing you guys want to be more involved in the WTAC preparation process, more things could be done in the next future (session 2;))

*Easyasashii has raised a concern about using both the ZR1 and GT-R SpecV in the same challenge at the 'Ring (since it is a difficult course). I almost feel like they are a 'pair' at this track and it's almost sacrilege to split them up (ha ha ha)! What do you guys think? Would you prefer to do them both or just one of the cars? Let me know, please!

IMPORTANT ! This is a "VS" challenge : only ONE laptime is needed for the points ranking system, which means that if you run both cars, both laptimes will be in the leaderboards but only one -the best- will be used for the points ranking !

Instead of posting both cars' times, I think we should choose
one car of our choice. Anyway, I'm happy with the car+track combo. 👍

We could do a 'VS' challenge if people would prefer that over a 'combined times' event. I'm happy either way, so - to everybody else - please post what you'd like to do with the Nissan GT-R SpecV & the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 @ Nurburgring!

Oh, haha! Forgot to tell my opinion on "GTR vs Corvette @ 'ring".

VS seems to be fair enough, though I'll most likely end up making a time on both.

(Ferrari Enzo : 7'25.7 but "It had a broken electronic damper on its run" :scared:)

By the Way, for your information, the Ford Escort Rally Car '98 --- Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VI GSR '99 -still available- will be run at a Rally Track, most likely at Cathedral Rock Trail I.

That's just what I were thinking, thus I'll start with ZR-1 :P . This will actually be my first slightly powerful car which I've played in GTPSP.. So a little scared haha, since I'm bad at controlling the throttle by tapping :nervous: . And the stubborn me doesn't use aids (except with cars I just want to get over with, but ZR-1 is just too nice) so I'm kinda excited how the run will go on it :dopey: .

But yeh, a great challenge is waiting for us, thanks Detroitbb for brainstorming these :P .

I just bought the LM one and driving it got a TOTAL shock at the noise... Do they really sound so deep and muscular? I was expecting a revvy SCREAM... still really like it though. :)

Personally, I hate SUVs... but I felt as if (at some point) we'd have to race some SUVs or pickup trucks! At least the Land Rover is nice and shiny and the MX-Crossport is car-like compared to most Sport Utility Vehicles!
