My submission:

Jaguar E-Type Coupe - 1'44.407

Nismo 270R - 1'41.836

Combined time: 3'26.243

For anyone interested on how I tune cars, I usually tune the car to focus on solving the handling issues rather than getting a good set-up for the track. Here's the priority level for my tuning:

Aero - My driving style (usually on max)

Ride height - Tuned for the car (in most cases I make sure the front end is lower than the rear to create oversteer)

Springs - Tuned for the track. I rarely set it to anything above 6.
Damper - Usually my dampers are stronger than the springs, and the front is always higher than the back to try to balance the car in heavy braking.

Camber - Set up for the track. For all drivetrains apart from FF I set the rear camber at a higher angle than the front camber. For FF's it's the opposite.

Toe - Minus Toe all the way!! :D The only exception is when the car is fishtail happy, then I set the rear to a + Toe-in.

^ thanks for the advices 👍 ! And great times  !

No time to play except for an hour session yesterday evening that got me a 1.42.912 with the nismo -pretty slow first sector and almost lost control of the car at turn K, no way I could hit 1'41 ! I think it will be my submission time for the nismo,

I'll finally run the jag' tonight so just one serious session to try to have a decent time !

Good luck all !

:gtpflag:

EDIT : To secure the points :

Jaguar E-Type Coupe '61 : 1'45.058 (half an hour L-F Stock tuning then half an hour with pvr77's tuning just above 👍)

Nismo 270R '94 : 1.42.912

Total : 3'27.970

See you next challenge !

Trial Mountain is only one of two tracks that make my hands sweaty while driving (the other in Nurburgring). It also makes me lean my body as if that will help my car turn (it doesn't :( )!

Can't upload the photos from psp sorry.. I'll see if tomorrow morning find a PC with internet.

About the cars.. the Jaguar is very fun to drive and is one of my favourite classic cars. The Jaguar can be able to do a high 1'43.xxx but I run out of time and could not improve my time. The Nismo I had to up the ride height and soft the suspension to make it more controlable, that is the first car I to do that. This track is very challenging but fun to drive on.
p.s. no one has say something about the monky!!

Jaguar E Type: 1'44.181

NISMO 270R: 1'41.818

Don't worry about it. I know you have internet issues at the moment and I can verify via the ghost replay.

👍

I totally forgot to look for the monkey!

Congratulations to pvr77 for his very impressive first place finish! It came on a very tricky course and he had both MVR08 (second place) and Dan360 (third place) following closely behind. Great job!

Overall, pvr77 now jumps up into the lead with 15 points... replacing Dan360, whose 14 overall points are good for 2nd place. In 3rd place, easyasashii holds onto this position (though he is tied for 3rd) with 10 points. Tied for 5th place are vaughan and MVR08 - both with 7 points.

My times:

Stock: 3 days, 17 hours, 29 minutes and 32 seconds exactly.
Race: RIP Driver

Those things are undriveble, i'm not in until the 52th week, if its race or not, i will be doing that. I rather drive normal cars here.
