Be gentle with the first couple of corners, aggression will cause you to lose all momentum in to the tunnel, though I imagine it's a lot harder with a pad than a wheel. Nice T2.

Thanks, I've more or less figured out what I need to do - prioritise being on the right side of the road before the long left hander. Doing it is a completely different kettle of fish. Then I can work on recreating the T2:)
I think this particular section in a fast car favours wheel users more than most parts of the game.

Enjoying this one despite finding a new bit of wall to crash into every other lap. Finally strung 4 clean sectors together.

T1: 16.876
T2: 25.877
T3: 21.942

I wound myself back a bit... pushing too hard was yielding more crashes than laps and fast sectors were rewarded with disappointment later in the lap. I'll admit I'm not very good with this car on this track but I reckon I can squeeze a bit more out of myself... its amazing that I've driven Trial Mountain countless times since GT(1) but obviously never really paid much attention to it 'til now.

You guys getting the mid 15's in the first sector are geniuses on this combo. Bravo! 👍

So, anyway, a small improvement here:

T1: 16.008
T2: 25.341
T3: 21.050

Chip, chipping away but I can't see me having a sudden breakthrough this week. Still, the car is fun to drive once I've got it round a few times without ploughing into the wall :)

Had a few sessions of this combo so far. Enjoying it much more than last week, can string a few laps together. Last week struggled to get more than 2 laps together without spinning but it was a good learning experience.
Would have posted splits earlier but my PC decided it didn't like my boot drive and won't start up. Have had to resort to the iPod to post these. Pain in the 🤬 but at least it works.

T1: 16.063
T2: 25.730
T3: 21.280

down to shaving tenths off, but will keep trying.

Have you tried the app?!

I'm assuming you have a iPod touch not a nano or anything as your on here in the first place! The GTPlanet app is really easy to use ;) I'm on it now! Lol.

Had a short session after work, improved by 0.1 in the end...

Seen a 40.43 on T2 with 15.7 on T1 so there's more space.I just don't like restarts too much hehe!:sly:

Sorry for wasted post. Fighting with this iPod and I'm losing. Lol

Yes it's an iPod touch. My fingers are a bit too big and clumsy for this. Tried the gtplanet app but couldn't find this thread. Must not have been looking hard enough but it was easy to use. PC should get sorted tomorrow but that means the wife will be back on facebook all day to catch up on the three she missed.

Sorry all for this non racing post. Only racing talk from now on.

Well it's good to be back and racing at last! This combo takes me back

Good to see some old faces around too :)

Here's my splits so far... not happy with final time though, plenty to gain from T2 onwards.

15.965
25.173
21.395

At the top of the list of threads is a "Stickies" tab. You have to click that to get the good threads. Took me like 20 minutes to figure it out.

Still trying to learn this track, just don't know how to andle some curves :ouch:

T1: 16.029
T2: 25.373
T3: 21.354

Day one splits:

T1: 16.094
T2: 25.784
T3: 21.393

Really stoked on this weeks challenge. Took me about 5 laps to stop easing on the gas like it was going to spin out at any moment! Starting to run some solid laps though. Good combo!

I like this one, no setups to worry about. :sly:

Just one question about this corner, not sure if it's been covered.

Is this the tightest you can do this corner or is the yellow striped part considered the track as well? Thanks. :)

4 laps!

T1: 16.992
T2: 26.798
T3: 22.548

:ouch: Lot of work to do.....got to find that paint!!!

My new splits. Slower through sector 1, but broke and cornered a little better through the rest of the sectors shaving off bits of seconds at a time.

T1: 16.520
T2: 26.156
T3: 21.309

Had a feeling I should hit the track one more time tonight, glad I did...

T1: 16.321
T2: 26.040
T3: 21.486
