All hard surfaces are considered track. Tarmac, rumbles, painted parts, bricks but not grass or dirt.
The OP says only tarmac and rumble strips, but I'm pretty sure your definition is correct, in case they want to update that.

- 2 wheels on (or vertically in line with) the track at all times.

Thanks. Yeah, saw that and interpreted it to mean that as long as two wheels were on the track and the other two slipped off on grass or dirt, that it would still be considered a "clean" run.

From the WRS week 1 thread:

This is considered clean. Two wheels are on (or vertically in line with) the track.

Thanks.

Latest splits:

T1: 16.532
T2: 26.140
T3: 21.488

BTW, I noticed that the correct lap time is displayed in the file details, but the best lap time in blue at the top of the live timing monitor is not correct. I'm pretty sure the splits are correct, because when I pause right before crossing the finish line, I see the correct time displayed on the real-time clock in white.

Peace \/

The data Is correct. Your best time Isn't displayed because you haven't crossed the finish line. Think about It. 👍

Well about a day and a half later i've finally managed to get some good splits without stuffing up the final chicane to finish my lap lol.

T1: 15.859
T2: 25.274
T3: 21.024

Now if only i can figure out that bloody T3 and get it into the 20s coupled with a 15.7 T1 lol.

Really enjoying this combo, i've put in a good solid 12hrs I reckon so far (still probally only have 8 TOTAL laps after all that!)

I edited the first post to make it less ambiguous, and to have it align better with my follow up posts.

Sorry for the confusing "All is Track" comment. I mean, all HARD surfaces are track. Tarmac, rumbles, concrete. Not grass or dirt.

One good thing is that the game has some nice track cutting rules in place for the last chicane now, presumably part of the most recent update.

I know at times in past WRS events, the concrete past the rumbles in this turn were not allowed.

Again, I'm trying to keep things simple this week, with lots of participation and a relatively difficult combo.

That doesn't mean everyone should push the rules to the outer limits.

Anyway, did some laps today aswell....was very close to 1'01.0 on T3 but couldn't make it,that left-right before T3 is killing all my good laps!:grumpy:

Tell me about it  my worst part of the track is the left hander at the bottom of the hill just after T3 :ouch: my best save now has a marginally slower T3 but have had 1'01.2's and 3's and always stuff it at that turn 👎

On my record screen for this track my top 10 times are seperated by .045 no joke and yet the splits can easily be up or down by .3 it's a crazy combo and I almost had my fill 🤬

Ok some new splits, really frustrating that I managed to shave 5 tenths of these and hit the wall on that left hander before the final chicane, does anyone have any tips for that corner? It's driving me insane.

T1: 16.680
T2: 25.498
T3: 21.178

Taking small doses on this one :scared:

T1: 16.323
T2: 25.486
T3: 21.310

I gain a tenth on 1 sector and loose 2 on another...it feels like the X1 challenge to me - where when it all goes right you start to tense up and think too much

T1: 16.625
T2: 25.751
T3: 21.731

What brake balance settings are DS3 users using - i'm trying 7F 5R....

I had a half hour to get to grips with this combo today. Fortunetely you can get quite a few laps done in 30 minutes :D Need to brush up a few lines but I'm finding new ones every lap! Splits so far:

T1: 16.257
T2: 25.444
T3: 21.299

I'm using 4 front and 2 rear for brakes on DFGT sim mode feedback 3 which i found to be the best for my driving style, works all the track except the downhill after T3

What the hell Is little lefty doing that high up the leader board.
Lefty I told you weeks ago when your son was thrashing In practice to stop teaching him.
Joking of course It great to see such young talent making great achievements.
Respect to you kid.

Little always loves hearing from you and he is just beside himself after seeing where he ended up yesterday. I couldn't beleve what I was seeing him do w/ that car. We went out for breakfast and I showed him a few real world tricks about setting the car for a turn and then leaning on it to actually turn it after the set and then he got back home and just turned into an alien. I am so proud of him 👍

With times like that my friend he'll get a lost of attention here & probably a lot of respect. No doubt he's caused a stir already & people will be clicking away on his profile to find out more about GTP's new wonder child.

T1: 17:103
T2: 26:302
T3: 22:192

Much to do...

Little and I started playing a game that a friend of mine and I used to do called "Bottle Caps". It goes like this. I drive the car and set a time, then he drives the car and has to beat the new time to bottle cap it. Once he beats the time I have to beat his new time to be the bottle cap. This went on until he eventualy turned into an alien and I couldn't touch his ghoast.

How old is this little prodigy?

He's 13 :)

I feel slower than a pack mule, but things are smoothing out. 👍

T1: 16.157
T2: 25.350
T3: 21.107

I've been training him w/ simulators since he was 4. 👍 He just loves this track and has been driving it for about 2 yrs.

Well there you are. Proof that practice makes perfect however old you are. I'm sure there's a healthy dose of natural talent behind the dedication though. And a little fartherly tutoring of course ;) Bravo though Little Lefty, bravo 👍

Little improvement here. Threw away an absolute barn storming lap at final chicane:ouch:

T1: 15.715
T2: 24.969
T3: 20.725
