Steward's Comments:
You can be like JLo :sly:

This is an easy drive around here. Have some fun pimping out the car and taking it for a time attack around Tsukuba. 👍

Viewing your T1 & T2 Lap Time Splits:

  • You need to make sure you save the 'Save Best Lap Replay' (ghost replay), not the 'Save Replay'.

  • To view your best lap replay, go to 'My Home' and watch the replay from there using the 'Replay Theater' option.
  • While Viewing Your Replay, Choose the "Live Timing Monitor" To View Your Sector Times
  • To post your T1 and T2 Splits, simply post the sector times that are shown in the live timing monitor.
  • The WRS Fetchbot has been updated and will now add your splits together!

  • Runoff areas are not part of the track
  • No contact with walls or objects, visible or invisible
  • If you're not 100% sure that your lap is clean, then consider it dirty
  • No hybrids
  • No cheating of any kind, these are relaxed races and we are experienced racers, we know what times can be done, and we can read your mind.We will know.
  • Nothing that goes against the spirit of the rules

Thread rules:

The following information cannot be discussed in this thread (they can, however, be discussed on MSN or via other private conversation methods
):

  • Lap time
  • Any information which can be used to infer laptime

The following information can be discussed in this thread
:

  • T1 and T2 times
  • Any settings discussion.

Number of splits: 2

Submission:

All submissions must be sent by PM (Subject title: GTP_WRS Week 37 Submission ) to (WRSFetchbot):

  • Please submit your time in the following format on a single line:
    Time: X'XX.XXX
    (Example-) Time: 1'10.100
[*]Users can ask the bot for the current submitted time by sending a message with the body: "get entry"
[*]Users can delete their submitted time by sending a message with the body of "remove entry".
[*]If multiple times are submitted, only the last submission will be counted.
[*]Please include in your submission PM your final lap time
[*]The deadline is Monday, October 31st 11:59pm GMT
[*]If you are unsure of the deadline try this site. Beware of the US Daylight Savings Time Change, don't cut it too close.

Why Use GMT?:

GMT is World Time and the basis of every world time zone which sets the time of day and is at the centre of the time zone map. GMT sets current time or official time around the globe. Most time changes are measured by GMT. Although GMT has been replaced by atomic time (UTC) it is still widely regarded as the correct time for every international time zone.

Time verification:

Save your ghost replay and keep it at least a full two weeks after the event's deadline:

  • Racers, named by the OLR Admin staff, (if any) will be required to submit a replay for verification
  • Any submitted time is subject to a time verification request
  • When a time verification has been requested, the concerned racer must provide the correct replay within seven days of the request
  • Failure to do so will result in the removal of the unverified submission from the results table
  • Video replays are not accepted as a form of verification

Well, this will be a nice change of pace from last week's combo, both literally and figuratively. :sly:

Lol, my wife might run it for me this week, she loves the cinquecento. I'm going to try out some of my new paints on this one.

No problem in racing now, as you´re on the registry 👍

Yessssss, I've always wanted to play as J-Lo! Going to put some of her songs on to get the mood right :sly:

Go on then, I'll start the ball rolling....

5 laps, all allowed tuning parts, pretty much stock suspension setting (fully customisable suspension), LSD 5/11/5, brakes 0/10 ABS 1

16.910
21.174

That was my best 1st sector of an albeit very short run. Did a much better 2nd sector on my last lap but ran wide on that final bend. This is kind of the opposite of week 1 but the 500 is a sweet little runner. My missus favourite car, surprisingly enough. :P

Ahh beat me to it, I wanted to be the person who gives out the first splits of the week :P

Anyway, first 10 laps, no tuning besides all the parts.

T1 - 17.147
T2 - 21.174

EDIT: Wow, we had the same T2 time xD

Don't like this car at all, way too understeery.

Try tuning it. I did a setup for my test laps -

Max Aero

Front ride height max
Rear Ride Height Min

Front Springs, Dampers and ARB's - All Max

Rear Springs, Dampers and ARB's - All Min

Camber 2.0/1.0
Toe 0/0

LSD 8/10/5

Drives a lot better that way. ;)

I also setup the transmission with about 100 mph max speed and tuning for all the gears after doing the GT5 tranny trick. But don't have the PS3 on right now to tell you exactly what the settings were. Will post my full setup after I run a session later.

I panicked a little bit, scrolling to the end without looking properly.
Saw TT20 at the end and that one is closed already.
Scrolled to the beginning again and there I found TT21. The right one ;)

Fixed, thanks. :)

You´re at home here mate 👍 Still remember first week where you´re Division 2 Bronze and i was like :bowdown:

Haha yeah, that was a mad week mate. At the time of qualy I was well pleased with making D2 Bronze. I was D3 Bronze in Prologue. Then suddenly I'm in the top 10 with a D2 podium and well.... no-one was more surprised than me. :D

Another 20 laps. Funny thing... no matter what I try with the suspension settings, the car doesn't seem any different, so I've left it at 0/0 ride height and just stiffened the springs a bit. Camber 2.0/1.0. Toe 0/0. 5 speed close ratio gear-box, min downforce. Not tried without a rear wing yet but will do that tomorrow.

No prob "E" I'm sure there is a way to loosen this pile up...... When I get her all slipery I'll post the tail happy setup for those who like the tail happy trail :)

The farmers plow says: :)

T1: 17.310
T2: 21.301

---------------------------------- Later on this evening :) ---------------------------------

This little car has great fun potential, one of the funest runs around this little shot glass of a track I have ever had. Great call for the 3D3 program if it's ever run w/ Spa around the corner but still a great call "Kev"

Previous week I did not have time to do a decent amount of laps, hope it goes better this time.

First 16 laps with default lsd+suspension setup:

17.054
21.097

Fun little bugger.

I wonder 1) if rear aero is a good idea, I find it hard to throw it around like i want, and 2) more importantly, what color it should have.

Update:
17.021
21.002

Drastic change from the FGT. It's going to take me all week to get used to, just like last week. Here's my first splits.

Well, I spend the money to fully tune my 500 as required. Get back to the GT Life screen and the server is undergoing maintenance.

I guess this will have to wait until later.

Haven't done any tt's for ages, but thought it was time to do 1 again... :)

First 15 laps...:

T1:0'16.822
T2:0'20.887
