Late start on this one. Tough combo for me, I'm usually no good on CS tires and don't know this track very well.

Ill hopefully get a chance to have a good crack at this, only done 2 laps up to now might be able to get some time at the weekend. My worst track in the game is madrid so hopefully I might get chance to learn it more.

I put all the best of everything on the car. Stage 3 engine and all the racing exhausts etc. Turbos cant be purchased for this car because there arent any available for it.

Theres just one thing you can buy for the car thats not allowed and thats a rear wing this week.

Best T1 paired with my best T3 unfortanatly I got out of rythym thru T2. That 37.8xx excited me quite abit. I salvaged my dang near shot all to hell lap thru the T3 corner nicely at least.

Again, thanks for posting your tunes guys! This was on MadMax's tune. Going to try some other tunes today, to see if I can knock some more time off.
 
Very slight improvement. I'm no good on these point and shoot tracks with hard tires.👎 Need to be very smooth, which I'm not.:yuck:

I'm using your tune (Pekka's tune). Adjustments I made are in red. I don't think it's worth posting my transmission settings; MadMax86 is transmission tuning specialist after all.

I had some problems beating those splits but I finally put 2 good ones together:
T1: 37.481
T2: 33.731

Welcome, R35. Something about your splits formatting isn't right, though. You're not showing up on the wrs.gtplanet.net leaderboard. You might try changing S1/S2 to T1/T2, and use a period (.) instead of a colon ( : ). Fetchbot only looks for certain formatting.

Not quite, but I think this one might be due to the I vs 1 in your GTPlanet ID.

I posted in the GTP_WRS Leaderboard Discussion and Feedback about the issue, so maybe the masters Joost or Vaxen can fix it.

And once that gets fixed, you might also want to use the [ STRIKE] tag to cross out your older times, when you're adding newer times to an existing post, as Fetchbot knows to ignore striked-out text. We'll get you there eventually!

EDIT: Why am I helping you, when your latest times are going to make you jump in front of me?!?! :lol:

I'm having a little issue while viewing my fastest lap replay... the replay theater main screen shows my actual fastest lap, but when I view the replay, it's showing a previous lap from that same session and not actually the one listed.... help?
 
Perfectly normal, Toy. The replay is showing the fastest lap you had BEFORE you set a new time, which is the replay you''re watching.
 
First of all save your 'Best lap Replay'
Then if you don't want to leave the event, you can just watch the replay and fast forward to your best lap.
 
Toy, you are all good, and the only place to see the lap time on your saved Best Lap Replay is in Replay Theater, before you click the button to Play it. The time from that lap won't show up anywhere WHILE you are watching it.

EDIT: In other words, WHILE you are watching the replay, ignore the light-blue Best Lap displayed.

Messy 2nd sector but much better final hairpin. Have done a best 1st sector of 37.420 so far but haven't seen any 33.7s in sector 2 yet. Not enjoying sector 2 at the mo - keeps just washing out at the front through lack of patience... :yuck:

@toymdngn - you misunderstood Chuk. The fastest lap replay shows the time from the previous fastest lap on the timing screen. The lap you are watching is your fastest, it just doesn't display your lap time. The lap time can be viewed in the details of the replay file in your replay theatre. That make sense...? :P

OK, I think i get it now.
 
Ok... since this is my first time submitting a time... I just PM WRSFetchbot my total fastest lap time, yeah? Sorry, I'm a little dense/don't want to get dq'ed on my first week. :)

Getting a LOT of understeer, but I am only running my basic "lower it and stiffen it" technique....
