Thanks Jack, likewise. Not as fast as it looks though, as I stopped for a bite to eat in the last corner and it took me a long time to get my seatbelts done up again :sly:

Had a better run, threw away a 54.5x in the final sector :( hopefully will get another one, none of my other attempts have been that quick though.

Was quite pleased with these till i saw everybody else's time. Dread to think what my times would be like without Chris' tune.

Using Edk's tune from the start of this thread but i have stock wheels, so the gears aren't quite the same.

Somewhat technical question for those smarter than me...
I saved a replay, then went to watch it and it's showing the SECOND fastest lap that I did, not the Fastest! What gives?:irked:
On the list of recorded laps in the replay list the time in the top right corner is the fastest lap. But that's not what's on the replay.
What am I doing wrong?:confused:

It shows the fastest time you had run up to that point. You are actually seeing your fastest lap. Look at the splits as they light up.

Nothing at all! Your replay is showing the previous best lap time because your current best lap is not finished yet, you are watching it!

How the heck are you guy's pulling the 24.xx t1 splits? I just can't seem to get below 25 without running off on turn 1. :mad:
 
After a multi-night saga of pedal repair (and destruction...), I'm finally back up and running with my g25 pedals for now (ClubSports are broken until I get a new load cell :().

Feeling pretty good about this run, I might work on it a bit more tomorrow night, but I'm gone all weekend so this is likely what I'll submit.

Every attempt at turn 1 over 107mph puts me into the wall.

Just have to get through as fast as you can without scrubbing off too much speed or going off course.

Nothing like having a faster time going and losing it because the throttle decides to not go 100%. :(

I've carried more 107 through a bunch. I think I saw 109 once too. The problem is that after I see that, and my first split is a 24.4xx, I get too excited and either screw up t2 or just crash altogether.
 
Gonna try this out, I'll post a tune later if it goes well, I'll post a flipping MR2 if it doesn't. :lol:
 
I've just realised that I've not weight reduced my car.
Not that it'll make much difference to my times, but still, can't beleive I missed this!
