Me too, spent to much time on TT online at Laguna because i had a shot to be on top 10 but looked at what happened :ouch:

Now it's to late to this. Tried last night but after the sixt time without doing turn 1 the right way gave up :rolleyes:

Once you Race Modified the car, the Aero parts become unavailable in GT auto.
Wings and spoilers are already on the Integra when Race Modified. ;)

Thanks Speedy for the reply. Maybe I explained it wrong: can I change the downforce settings with the race modified car aero or do we leave it on standard settings?

Sorry guys for the question but I´m new to this and I don´t want to commit errors.

Gave it a quick go yesterday, but my first sector is still weak.
Trying now to get a better time.

Yes, you can change it although I think that the vast majority have the same setting ie. maxed out. I know I have at least.
 
First splits, still down at 319bhp, but am getting used to the car now.

Turned my ps3 off last night while still on the track, so had to purchase all the upgrades and break-in the engine from scratch again today lol.

I'm in "OT Mode" now and ripped another tenth and some change faster then my best :) I turned my best T1 but couldn't back it up w/ a better T2 :( but at least I have beat my 2 day old OT twice today :lol:

Didn't see your tune Kevin but I must give it a try. I love your tunes, they suit my driving well. Thanks for posting even if it is late in the week!

For these splits I used Ddiamond's tranny, Yanaran's tune With a few mods

Still lighting up the front tires in places but I can not seem to get good throttle control with my DFGT. Maybe I need some of Chuks foam!

Thank you, altough i must admit, that without the tunes posted 👍 I would not be anywhere near those times...

So here are my new splits, with my best sector 1 time, left a little on the second tough, but had a nice improvement on my laptime :)

Done using 310HP as I didn't realize car had dropped HP.

Needed another oil change to be back at 322HP but now I'm out of time to redo the laps :(

The tunes everybody are posting are *wildly* different to mine (mine is mostly symmetrical front/backk expect for roll bars when I'm running harder bars on the rear)

I guess I cannot get my head around the fact (?) that GT5 has it's front and rear reversed on the tuning menus. It seems to major for PD to screw up but if I find time again I'd like to try the tunes other have posted.

Awesome challege, used to drive a DC2 as daily driver. Brings back good memories.

Lots of fast drivers out there too.

Forgot to mention, I went on to SSRX last night to check out acceleration with different gearing and shift points. The peaky 6 speed shifter right at redline was considerably faster than a longer geared setup, even if it did have more wheelspin.

Try one of the tunes out on the B settings, I think you'll be surprised to see how much the car turns.

You need to follow the exact order of instructions. Start with a default transmission, reset to default if it's been altered.

Move the final drive to the fir right (I think that's 6.000 on this car).

Move top speed to the far left (lowest number) I think that's 112 on this car.

Set the individual ratios.

Alter ONLY the final drive to go to the listed number. Do not touch Top Speed once you've done all this, it will mess up the available ratios.

Figured out a better 2nd sector but that turn 1 is just ^&**&%$ me off. :yuck: :p Nasty 3rd sector on this lap too so not much of a gain at the line. Rolling 'til the deadline by the looks of it.

I guess I can't argue w/ your findings :dunce: There must be something there, there. I was starting to see that my self. My fastest laps from yesterday making more tire smoke and were faster so I guess I'm going to use the 6 speed and remap my attacking points for peak rev turn entries. So I guess it's going to be 3rd gear in the final turn rather then second :lol:
