2-lap try, now handing it over to one of my bobs to do the engine break in
 
Probably my favorite track in the game. Great combo but...so many places to ruin a lap in the green hell makes me nervous already!!

No need since I won't be able to run this week. My GTP Id is set for argentina which means no DLC, and the car is impossible to borrow or give as a gift from my other Id so...
Any ideas??

Yes that new Vette :bowdown: But not my kind of track. Or should i say bike path :lol: Never bin fast here. For a TT it's acceptable but for racing a no go area. This is more than a hand full to put al your best sectors together in one lap. Will need alot of hours to be competitive this week. But consider myself one of the lucky ones, got an extra day of weekend this week ;)

Create an account in a country that gets the DLC, and you can use it on any account on your PS3. 👍

I was tired, but couldn't sleep so I thought I'd have a quick run to break in the car some. 7 laps later I'm wide awake and buzzing :D. Not going to sleep just yet so I'll have to do a few more :sly:

Haven't had time to do WRS since Sept. Finally work is easing up and what a fine TT to get back into :) Still a bit rusty and had a few messy turns, but managed a clean lap. Hopefully can get a good run through.

Wow! This is gonna be an epic struggle for me...to say the least. Just ran 20 laps and not one of them clean. I am so going to get killed this week in this combo. Blisters aren't even healed from last week, lol.
 
Lol the last time we ran here Mitch, I had one clean lap ALL WEEK!!!! That was wk54 and we were running the full 24hr track in the Alfa 155 DTM car :crazy:

Damn, that sounds worse than this, lol. I don't mind the car, I just don't run the 'Ring that often. Ah well, I'll eventually get it.

Going to take a break and watch Monday Night Football. Go Giants. Love listening to Gruden do the game, that guy's awesome. My man crush, lol.
 
Try to take your time, dont think about setting a record, its difficult though lol just had a try at it to break-in the car, i found myself to be nervous where i normaly dont, holding the wheel tighter than usual, and its just the first day with the car not fully broken-in yet :D haha

Thats my biggest problem i noticed when running a WRS event, working on that :)

Managed to calm down a bit, did about 5 clean laps so far, some sector are already close to limit except when the car will be fully broken-in (may be 2-3 hp more...), been cautious on the second half of the track and missed some brake point/apex, still a lot of work to do, and Wes already have a quick pace 👍

Still quite a few mistakes that can be cleaned up. Any suggestions on BB? I'm running 6/4, may have been 5/5 this session because the time before I set it from the R/A menu. Also, any thoughts on chassis reinforcement?

I am done with the second sector, i am just trying to tidy up the third.

1 more night in the seat should do it hopefully.

Hope to see you racing soon 👍 Looks like your taking your sweet time with the qualifier, I remember when I did mine, I was so in a hurry to make it before the submission round since I saw that the next submission would be 6 weeks away that I only did about 10 tries on each sector ( I had practiced the ring quite a bit when the game first came out so it didn't take me long to match my previous times and beat them) I think If I spent a bit more time I would have made D2 which would have been hard to compete in so Im quite happy I just missed D2 :dopey: good luck on that last sector
 
4 hours, 1 clean lap! If you asked me, the splits are not even worth going to look at! Try again tomorrow.

Its a little early to say if its a good brake bias, but i used 5/4 :)
5/5 was upseting the car sometimes.
 
First laps, i use 7/5 brake balance. Need more practice with this car, it have a moment when the torque come out corner that you need to control with a synchronised counter-steer to perform full throttle out or modulate your acceleration and loose time. Hard to catch.:ouch:

Had a quick go this morning. I had a faster lap (over 4 seconds faster) going into the final right before the straight and lost it! AAAAAAAAAAA, that's the Nurb I guess!

This lap has the entirely useful property of being the only one I've finished so far. One! I binned one about two seconds up near Pfantzgarten before this :banghead:

Gotta love that power band.
