Because you were over 3 seconds quicker than me :crazy: and i noticed you dont use the gears it tells you to when your near the corner.

Ah, I see. :) I use the gear I want, and brake when I want too, I hate being told what to do. Just ask my boss. :lol: 👍

Russ, how do you take files that aren't in the proper directory structure and repair that so the replay can be viewed - I could probably figure it out but I'd rather ask you and spend the time racing. :)

Hey Lin, the five files that a replay are composed of must be inside the folder with the replays id, eg. BCES00104-RPLY2-B-C04A4704001 . If this folder doesn't exist or has been re-named you can find the correct name in the param.sfo file. Use a hex editor. I use fileanalyzer.
So the structure is : ps3/savedata/BCES00104-RPLY2-B-C04A4704001/and the 5 files in here.
I hope this is understandable.

And there you have it .. odd that they would store the path in a file that is in the directory - how does the game find the .sfo file if it gets lost. :lol:

Thanks though, that really helps alot when dealing with replays.

Thanks MadMax86, i could not beat the lap i submitted, i got within .x10 of the final time just before i submitted, than i saw you posted "Improved my overall time by .6 seconds today" when u submitted so i though it would be close judging by the split leaderboard, so with that 3rd place on the leaderbord you had a time of 2'19.9xx?. Big 👍's for you and the other controller users after using a wheel since GT3 i would be in the dirt more than on the track with a DS3

Zed300, you got the correct replay this time :), but please don't change any of the folders. Simply right click on the folder named "ps3" and "send to" "compressed (zipped) folder", then you can rename the zip to what ever you like before uploading. To show you what I mean, try viewing you own replay.

Just in case there is some confusion, I think the OLR Admin team only wants podium replays which means 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in the division - please correct me if I am wrong here.

I would like to suggest we only post replays in this thread if they actually need to be reviewed - otherwise, send your replay directly to a person in your own Division for verification if you just want to see if it was in fact clean. Feel free to use me Zed300 since I am in your division.

Also, Zeestig doesn't need validation but perhaps some NTSC racer in Div 2 could do him a favor (hint, hint Russ - just kidding, I'll grab it this time since I'm already there). :)

I have nuclearfire's replay and will verify it shortly and that should wrap this week up (in record time maybe).

In the GT4 days, it used to be welcomed to anyone to post their replays, even if they weren't required to do so.
I also believe that replays from non-podiums being posted and not reviewed will not prevent an admin to officialise results of a given week.

Yes,you are right.

Everybody is free and welcomed to upload his replay but he results become official when all requested replays are being reviewed.

GTP_mojito's replay was verified by nuclearfire back at post #40 so I think these can be marked official now. Thanks!
