Replay Checking:

1. It is customary for all participants of the WRS to verify each others submitted replays
2. Once you have checked the replay, post in this thread to say that you have checked it and whether it's clean, dirty or doesn't meet the required race specifications
3. When verifying a replay, check against this weeks race specification, check that the tyres are the correct compound and that the power and weight is correct for example

The script I use can only work from what Fetchy has posted, so last-gasp posts often don't show up (it essentially grabs the sectors from the leaderboards).

- the narrow entry and the slide in turn 1 cost you quite a bit, turn 2 was great. It was possible to carry more speed through turn 3. Your car control in the difficult last sector was really good and the time was competitive.

Thanks. 👍 Yeah, that was not my normal turn 1 approach, as you might imagine. I almost reset the lap, but saw I was tracking ahead of my ghost and decided to stick with it. Good thing.

Thanks for spending some time on mine, I don't like submitting something that close, but did not have time to clean it up over the weekend since I was away from home.

I have my doubts. GT5 Prologue did not even have a photo mode, we had to use some crazy methods to review close laps. I never would have submitted the lap I did this week on that game, it would have made a reviewer's job much too difficult.

@mistersafeway Gutted for you mate...that was so close!! If only that had been 2 strips backwards, you would have been on the longer rumble strips and may have been okay..that's tough happening to catch the shorter length rumble strips

Edit: I'll try and remember to check the remaining replays later when I turn the PS3 on if no-one has checked them before then

Can somebody explain why it is dirty? I cant see from this angle - right rear is on the grass, or just near it. if it isn't on the grass - I agree, it is dirty, but if it on the grasss - it is clean, becauce grass is covering strips.

@Napalm_LT has a good point there...if you look at the first 2 rumbles, you can clearly see that the rumble extends to the line where the tyre is and that the grass has overgrown the rumble (the black line the tyre is over looks like a clear divider between the grass and rumble strip). Surely that should mean that the grass there is incidental and should be disregarded as, if the grass hadn't overgrown the rumble, there would be no discussion as it would be clear the tyre is touching the rumble?

Grass mostly grows over those brown things because there are holes, not through rumbles.
