Congrats to all podium finishers, and all that managed to submit clean laps. The combo was a proof to me again that making it thru hell cleanly in a reasonable laptime is very hard to do. So doing a real fast lap is an act of heroism.
And disappointed I only just manage to stay within Div4 laptimes ... ;(

Sweet livery Manuel 👍

Clean and green.

Fetchy get's confused with submission times over 9:59.999. A result of all his drinking in pole dancing clubs methinks  We are aware and are trying to get a fix in place 👍

I have a question. In my WRS personal results it shows me finishing 9th in division as if everyone was using the same car. Will this be adjusted?

I will get a definitive answer for you but my from the hip response is probably not. Let me find out for sure tho and get back to you 👍

Sorry, it won't.

Of course, the leaderboard is simply a statistical representation of the forums, but the forums are the official record.

The result will count where it matters, for your handicap placement and here in the class results thread.

Our tools are just not designed for situations like this, and writing new code to address one off situations is not really an option.

Definitive answer is no.

Whilst we can put on extraordinary events every once in a while we can't keep asking for more and more code changes to deal with these events. Hope you understand and agree that's a small price to pay for the added benefit of having these out-of-the-ordinary events that will pop up from time to time 👍

Tree'd by the boss

Oh by the way, how come my nice Welsh flag shows up next to my name in the leaderboards but not under my avatar?
they're different sources. the one underneath your avatar is originated from the gtplanet.net th one in the docs is originated from the WRS. we can't change the flag under your avatar unfortunatly

Your Avatar comes from your GT Planet profile. The board comes from your WRS registration.

If you go into your GTP profile the first page there is a drop down box that lists your country of residence pick Wales from the list and hopefully tada!

As clean as our kitchen ! (green flag deserved guys) Cool liveries btw !

Gratz to all ! Really big turn up, and very close!

@GTP_Nail - I have re-verified your submitted lap and am unable to determine that the lap time matches with your submission. The replay literally freezes solid right before the line and short of your submitted time. It's an error I haven't seen before and could be a glitch due to the share so if you could check the replay on your machine and re-share if your version is good I'll happily reverse the flag decision once verified.

Mike is absolutely right: the replay stops as the car front wheels touch the second line on the start finish straight. The splits are correct for the time shown on the replay (I added them up...boring ) ...but the lap time on the timing (sectors) never up dates to represent that lap because the car never got that far. Like you, I have never encountered that one. It figures that my fastest lap gets FUBARED. It is so clean that its annoying... That was the quarter of "time up" lap when I noted that I had to change the friggin Xmission from Variable race to Default when I entered the TT to do one "last " go, and suddenly the pressure was on. I "Had" to do better than my 24.6 because I "might" have used the "wrong" Xmission. It was a sheer terror, gotta do this, and it has to be better.... I was well past the Start Finish when I exited the car and when I watched the replay It never occurred to me to look at the total lap time. Over to you. Hold one:I am reviewing the 24.6 to see if it does the same thing....yes it does. The replay stops at about the same place and the time is not updated...it shows the previous lap. So, do I have to do another lap after my fast lap...or complete the 1st sector?? If I get red flagged on a technicality its no big deal. But....we do need to see if this is game wide or just my system. When I finish my lap I quit right then and go save the lap and confirm the time on the replay....is there something else to do? You might want to check my lap on the 512 and see if it is the same and no one caught it.?

We haven't gotten a foolproof way to prevent this bug or the other similar one where it cuts out early (instead of yours, which is hanging early). We have told people to run at least 1 clean sector after you cross the line, but that didn't help in a couple cases. You're not the only one who has hit the "hang" version. I saw one at Suzuka, I think. Part of checking your lap before submission should include forwarding to the end of the lap and making sure you haven't hit this bug.

Seeing the lap time at the end is the only way for reviewers to know if you submitted the correct time/replay, since once replays are shared, the reviewer doesn't get the laptime in yellow numbers on the thumbnail of the copy in their Collection...we only get that for our own replays in My Library.
