Nice improvement on the splits, though not as much at the line unfortunately. The previous lap would have been faster — if I didn't throw it away at the final chicane... :banghead:

no, not in a gr1, just the cayman . The stupid thing is, this was my very first lap, since then, always had 4 tyres on the grass or so, very annoying..
 
Well chuffed, yesterday tried all 3 cars for 1 lap each. Tonight drove the 911 RSR round Dragontail in the Dailies a couple of dozen times, felt comfortable with it. So tried the Nurburgring 24hr straight after. First run to put down a time but came off twice, felt good apart from those incidents. Was gonna try the other cars again but thought the RSR felt ok. Second lap nailed it, no offs, pretty committed most of Lap. Couldn't help letting off a little at end of long straight heading back to stadium. Very satisfying.

Submitted my time on the board. I probably should have ran some more today... But, @EDK and I started messing with tunes on the new TT. I doubt I will have time tomorrow. I am fairly pleased with my time tho.

My three fastest laps are within 2 tenths of each other so I’d say I’m done.
 
Well after way too many laps through hell on line I thought ....why not try a TT. Just for the H of it I checked my settings...hmm all settings were custom. Oops. That was the bad news... the good news was that while my original submittal was now BAD the good news was I was running with way too much wing an a stupidly wrong gearbox. New time is a second lost from optimum but as they say in Tennessee... “Im tarred”. More tomorrow.

Woahhhh!
so first I'm having fun driving around the Neeurborgring in an LMP1 car and I'm like wow this is amazing, the smell, the speed, the raw eggs. Then I realized woahhhh! hey aren't you supposed to be in a Le Mans winning Porsche 919 as driven by Leib, Dumas, and Jani??

Well emphasis on Dumas 'cause I was actually driving an R18 haha waaaaat! I ain't driving no third place Le Mans ********. Third place is like... first loser or something.

When I realized this, I considered quitting motorsports for good. But @GTP_Nail assured me that this was hilarious and I should feel bad, so I did. Then I realized that hey it's because I'm always driving in magic carpet nose cam mode. I'm never gonna let that happen again so from now on I will occasionally yell out the name of the car while I'm driving.

I got in the Le Mans winning Porsche 919 and did some laps in anticipation of participating in the Enduro next week! I'm super excited! If I'm in the wrong car please send me a PM and politely let me know what's up, thanks.

Oh, one of the sectors was wrong. I started with a 2 when it should've been a 3.

Will posting the correct version fix that?
I already tried editing the initial submission but it doesn't seem to work.

I’ve taken that corner tight too and although no contact is visible, I do here a rumble. This could be the road surface but clarification would be helpful.

While I mention it, what are the rulings on:

-Painted (green) tarmac - the point where the track layouts converge after the above barrier

-drains and concrete

-block paving

Last session, found a second, but man it's embarrassing to watch the replay, there are so many small nervous mistakes, but luckily also some very satisfying parts :).

I'm well within my goal, so happy to submit with the below splits. I spend more time on this combo than the previous, plus a lot more during online testing.
