As always there still loads of time to gain, but this combo is putting a massive grin on my face so I won’t be calling it a day yet!

How about triple posting?

This really is the last one today, I’ve got to go to work now :guilty:
That's OK too, for splits.

Use the edit feature to add to normal posts on the same day, but otherwise you are fine.

Wow, it seems like it is taking me a long time to reach 15 weeks here in the WRS, let alone 15 years! A fantastic achievement guys. to all those dedicated members involved from it’s inception or otherwise along the journey in keeping the WRS alive.

Ok, 919....

4.5 faster over the line @andrew1990
Honestly, I've managed 3 clean laps and they've all been posted. That's it! No idea what my optimum is. Think I'll do the circuit experience. Maybe that will help?

Plus, you're my target! Mwah-haha!

@Renrag39 if you know the track it think it wouldn't help you that much since the cars are completely different in circuit experience.

Comming from my own experience i've learned there's now way to cut corners. seat time in the LMP around the ring is the only thing that will make you faster. so i'd not be using my time inefficiently and trying all sorts of other cars. just buckle up and try to become better every lap.

when getting out of othercars and comming in to the lmp you'll notice that steerings gotta be more clean and precise focus on getting that first.

At least thats just my two cents.

Do the track experience, it's a lot easier learning this track if you tackle it by sectors.
@Renrag39 But if you don't know the track, do this.

It'd been so long for me that I had to do this, especially for the sections following the carousel. I was getting lost.

Such a tough track to learn. Early apexes and late apexes, curbs you can ride and others that throw you for a ride, and so many corners that are deceptively fast.

IMHO it's about learning where to take risks and where not. It's also very important to remember which turns have banking that set the car out of control.

I don't know the names of corners like y'all do. But, there is one that took me forever to learn how to brake and hit the right angle. It would launch me off the track every time! :banghead:

I would not say I am doing it the right way now. But, now I can manage it better and it more or less throws me where I want to be... most of the time

Tried all three (919 is crazy fast) and I’m going to stick with the 911 RSR. The first two corners are driving me crazy.

Maybe another 4-5 clean runs at this, just not my track. Taking massive risks in the final part of the track. Maybe that is part of why I don’t care for the Ring, you take massive risks you would(I wouldn’t) not take if driving a real car at speed on this track if that makes sense. I know it’s a real track and maybe that is part of it.

I need to stop listening to Ned. The RSR doesn’t need traction control to be driveable around the Ring.

My livery editing skills are severely limited. Is it possible to grab a shared livery and apply it to a car or must one start from scratch?

Also, I wonder if anyone could share (or maybe already has shared) WRS related decals?
Re decals: type wrs in search box and they will pop up. Can someone make one of the winged one used in the main post?

The guys have given you a tip on the WRS decals but also search for gtplanet and you should see the globe etc come up. You can also search for liveries for each of the cars and use them. Some really incredible liveries out there on the PD servers

@alexamenos when you search in discovery... click the older button on left to find the decals. May have to go back a few pages
