Replay Checking:

  1. It is customary for all participants of the WRS to verify each others submitted replays
  2. Once you have checked the replay, post in this thread to say that you have checked it and whether it's clean, dirty or doesn't meet the required race specifications
  3. When verifying a replay, check against this weeks race specification, check that the tyres are the correct compound and that the power and weight is correct for example
  4. If you are unsure about a replay, always seek a second opinion before posting

I looked at the results table before coming here and immediately suspected a catch of some kind.
Yes, I did encounter problems getting to the site once, but that train didn't leave the station. :odd:

We are going to allow submissions through the normal results deadline time, today. So 11:59 pm GMT, on Tuesday April 18th.

I have a note into @JoostBaksteen to see if he can open the event again in the board, which would allow us to use our normal submission process.

If I don't hear back from him within 4 hours, we'll move to plan B. That will involve adding some staff members to a submission conversation to the Fetchbot, so we can extract the replays manually.

Once I know the precise course of action, I will also start a conversation with everyone who posted splits on the leaderboard and is not in the current results. Simply in an effort to provide equal opportunity to submit your lap.

Hopefully everyone who was able to submit on time understands that this was an exceptional circumstance, with the site being down for nearly 8 hours leading up to the deadline. We don't really make exceptions like this, but this particular situation was well beyond our control.

Question: is more running going to be allowed or is submitting what we have so far all that is allowed? I didn't bother running a last session because it seemed like it would be wasted time, although I'm happy enough to just submit what I have now even knowing it's not that good.

Your replays are time stamped, we expect the run to have been completed before the original deadline time.

Ha! Nothing'll stop me running possibly right up to an hour before the deadline, although there's no way I'll just drop in the thread at the end and say "whoops, looks like I won :P". You know I'll always give a lot of warning, even if only to stay on your good side. ;)

Yes we will, but only if the lap was run before the deadline. How we will do that is still under consideration. Expect a method for uploading later today.

All - We are working it out to get these 5 additional laps into the board as well.

So right now, the replay checks and results are not going to show up, but they will be there by midnight GMT.
