GTP_Frantic : green Flag.

GTP_Mad94d : green flag.

To update the OP:

GTP_Denur: Green Flag

Need someone to do Nuclearfire's NTSC replay on page one.

I'll review GTP_awd208s replay tonight as Denur said "probably" clean and can do Fuzzy's replays too.

yep,Nuclearfire's NTSC replay need a review.

A lap of awd,Denur and Fuzzy are on hold.
I decide later this week what I will do after watching the replays again.

Okay. The view for Denur's lap which gave me my decision was the looking backwards one, if you're interested, don't know if I mentioned it or not.

Finally we have checked all replays.

I have to announce 2 disqualifications:

GTP_Denur
rflagnv1.gif
walltouch
GTP_awd208
rflagnv1.gif
walltouch

Racing so close to walls can gain more time.
I have seen it in all top times replays, but it is also a risk.

It makes me sad that I got a red flag after the run had appeared to be clean. :(

However, the red flag is justified in my opinion, because after reviewing the lap over and over again (after Matt expressed his doubts), on some occasions (maybe one out of ten) I had the feeling myself that I had hit the wall. And when in doubt....

I had already informed Sjaak about my doubts, but left it upto him to make the final judgement. It was a very close call, but fair is fair. Anyway, now I've got a second chance to get my first win. :sly:

Chin up Denur.

Even with the DQ those were some very fast laps you put in.
In the future I'm sure you'll delete such close calls before submitting.

This goes out to awd208 also. Sorry mate.

In the past we have had to DQ (more than once) people for invisible walls.
That is why it is stated in the race specs.

Sjaak, I know disqualifying one's lap is always hard to do. Been there, done that. :indiff:
It was easier in the past to prove such touches due to the fact we had the data logger and photo mode.

hi all,

short question: why was this called the race in/of week 17, because week 17 is from 20th of april - 26th april this year (2009).
So by which calender do we count the weekly race series?

It starts from when the WRS started, which was about the last week of November iirc.

AAAhhh no particular calender, it's just when the Moderators had got everything sorted with the first qualifier round, for GT5P, then they could start a WRS. Just so happened that it started not at the beginning of the year that's all.
