edit: nearly 2 secs up on fastest... its SH rear SS front for tyres..

I get the sense that by Sunday, just to keep up with the competition, I'll need to be down into the 54s for Sector 2.

I can only imagine some of the stuff you jokers are pulling off at the last chicane.

Here are the gears I'm using, but I'm not sure they're any better than what you're using now.

Set final at 3.200,then top speed to min.

Wow, seems as though you use the same method as I am using so far for this event. :sly: I have about 10 different ways to set my gears, so far this way is the fastest. I still have about 5 other methods to test though.

Every time I get into the 54's I loose my nerve in t3, but I'll get it 👍.. damn that last chicane!!!!
 
arrrgh, Mods help.. just found out that I've been signed out of PSN, so my best replay has been done 'offline', I am busy for rest of week and was going to just submit now...
Is this offline status going to be a problem?

EDK's gearing and taking all turns in T2 in 3rd gear should do it.

That's right, I gained half a second in T3 over my previous lap. In T3 there is so much time to gain or to lose, it can ruin your whole lap or make it a banker ;)

My sector 3 was pretty good, but I lost two tenths at the chicane from my previous best because on that lap, I hit it perfectly. :(

Finally hitting the .5s in T2 and straight after this lap (thanks to a really good exit in the chicane) I got a 24.9xx T1 in the next lap, but then messed up in T2 and lost my ghost.

This is enough for now, but I'll come back to it later.

As for tunes, did these splits with the EDKWins tune with Baron's gears (they're just right, thanks @Cats_PJs) - I did try @mistersafeway 's tune, but couldn't get comfortable with it at all, then went back to the first tab and immediately went faster. This was at the beginning of the session, and I had already made about 2 hundredths at that point. After changing tunes about a few times I started making tenths, til at the end I had made up 7 tenths over my previous best lap with the other splits (the chicane is a time killer if you get it wrong).
