What's the procedure now? I read that Fetchy doesn't take strikeout edits of posts, but what do we do if we improve and nobody else has posted? (see post #523 and #524 above)

Your splits have updated now. If you improve and no-one else has posted, then the only option is to double post. Its only in the WRS and special circumstances so you won't get wronged for it here. ;)

Well technically I am playing, it just doesn't benefit me in the competition.... yet. My day will come I'm sure. :trouble:

I'm pretty sure this week will be an anomaly for me, I ran WRS Week 1 but did not make it home from work in time Monday to submit (I was hoping to get another session in). When I saw the results, my lap was right in the middle of D2 gold as it should be.

I've been driving underpowered, softly suspended cars in slippery ice and snow all my life, this combo is a lot like that. We had Saab 900's in the 1980's, they are front-drive but my father (not knowing any better and being a typically cheap New Englander) would put studded snow tires on the front and leave the Pirelli summers on the rear...can you say lift throttle oversteer? I knew you could! Light on the brakes, small choppy steering inputs, light on the throttle, prep for oversteer.....YEAH! This combo is like I'm 16 again, and I don't have to pay if I crash!

Looks like I'll get another go at this or at the new week. I'm on night shift again next week, so I'll be up all night with nothing to do and sleeping during the day this weekend.
 
Time submitted and accepted. Unfortunately I never found the time to come back to this sweet combo, so my splits from the leaderboard stands.

Great combo ! However very hard to do a full lap with possible best sector times.

Wow, that's pretty awesome. My two sectors were a 29.700 and a 26.700, to make a combined total of 56.400. Then, I'm 0.600 off the fastest time so far!
 
Everyone else is improving all around me, and yet I can't improve by 0.001 let alone any more than that.
 
Let the Yo Yo continue. My best Sector 2, but gave most of the gain back in the final corners. Just starting to get the kink a bit so I have a shot to beat this lap quite often and it comes down to the final complex which I've yet to tame:

Well as much as I have tried these last few days I cannot better my final time, I have often been faster in 1st sector - now and again in 2nd sector - but always fall behind my ghost by the finish line. :boggled:

Enjoyed this one quite a lot, thought the car was quite a challenge for me to to keep settled. 👍

Best of luck to all the competitors for the final leader board - I wonder what next week has in store for us :gtpflag:
 
I submitted yesterday but might return to this tomorrow. No idea which way that would turn though, despite all the SLACK.
