Because of the race room was full yesterday I decided to do a 13 lap stint with the TT and I surprised myself. Not that I did go much faster but by the fact that I did complete 13 clean laps with decent times so i'm getting confident in the BMW

I'd like to find half a second in the lap, don't know if I can manage that til tomorrow.
 
Managed to knock over 6 tenths off my splits lastnight... Only to then run slightly wide AGAIN on the exit of the Porsche curves :banghead: 🤬

I'm still debating whether to spend another 3-4 hours tonight trying to replicate the lap cleanly.

Did you do accidentally do the 2009 version instead of the 2013 version? They're pretty much the same.
 
In the first chicane after the Mulsanne straight is going beyond the white lines on the exit legal?

Should be, it's also legal before the tight Mulsanne right hander. Otherwise my splits also wouldn't be clean.

Thanks will submit the lap then. Not expecting too much since I only started this combo today. It seems fun once you get through the bumps frustration phase, but its still very hard to get into a rhythm here. I think I left some 6tenths out there but not patient enough to try and nail every sector (the track is too long for me :lol: ) Anyway good luck to anyone still running.
 
That #$@%^ Mulsanne corner has my number. In my early stints I was running 22.4's on that sector. Occasionally I'd run too deep and mix in a 22.6, but I was also able to hit a 22.3. Now....I'm seeing upwards of 23.0 on turns that don't seem terrible, and I'm relieved to hit a 22.6. I start thinking about the corner before I finish the first sector. I'm like a golfer with a bad case of the shanks.
 
In for a final run at keeping this monster on track. This is the lap I am really happy with, because all sectors are good except for the Mulsanne corner. There's maybe another 2 tenths in there.

Taking a small (few hour) break before I start to push for 2'20 or lower T5.
 
Final run with 11 laps under the wheels and could find some time, not all that i wanted but i'm happy with it.

I managed to reach the time I aimed for, but had so much personal best sectors on other laps, there still is 3-4 tenths left on the track, but no time to aim for those.

Well I've done faster splits during the week but these are the best (on a clean lap) I'm going to muster up before the end of the event. Lap time matches my fastest previous "dirty" lap so I'm content. It could have been even faster had I got the last little chicane right... ended up using @skyline1683 tune. Clocked up approx 1500km over the week :crazy:

Hey Guy's , had a go at this with Skyline's tune ... Awesome Tune Dude . Stuffed the last few Corner's up. Go to have one last go before the cut off .
