Did a 75 lap session today and all I have to show for it is a faster theoretical lap. I'm almost .5 off my theoretical best , just not consistent enough especially sector 2. Lap submitted and accepted with these slower splits but the last sector was my 2nd fastest of the week.

Yes but considering the direction of the car, next frame might be dirty. If it isn't you are safe.

also for another time, if you kill the panning and crank up the shutter speed you get a better pic for reviewing 👍

The way I understand it, as long as the tire contact patch is on or above the racing surface you are good. The problem occurs when its just the sidewall making contact.

That's the rules. But we rather have people not submit laps that are such a close call, it's easier for everyone involved if checking doesn't come down to a matter of milimiters. Basically, don't submit a lap unless you are positive it's clean.
I'm talking in general not Skaboy's lap.

Agreed, its not worth making someone spend 10 min inspecting a replay.

Something very similar and in the same place happened to me in my fastest lap. Maybe it was not clean enouh and I decided no submit that lap. Better to look for another fast lap

I’ll give it another half hour before hitting the hay.

I hear ya! I’ve got another 4 tenths out there to find on my optimum. It finally started to click but far too late - I was on the power way too early in most the lap. Counter intuitive. I’m just happy to be close ish to @Hasnain282

Actually what I do sometimes is, before a sector that's giving me grieff, I'll pause, close my eyes and visualize my braking point, the line I want to take and sometimes it works

Yeah I do the same except there is a bottle involved and I sometimes burp too

A massive 0.097 quicker at the line, is it really worth all the 🤬🤬 and kicking the 🤬 out of the desk.
