@mr_lab_rat About to give this a first run.
Will go with your tune, any updates on the tranny as yet?
Also, not that I know it makes any difference but are we allowed to increase tyre size? It says custom is allowed but don't know if that includes inching them up at all. Cheers

The car drives weird and too understeery for my liking.
here is transmission setting
1)Reset to default
2)Max speed 180km/hr (far left)
3)final gear far right
adjust individual gears
4)3.733
2.873
2.150
1.898
1.623
1.431
then adjust final gear to 3.070
You should hit 219km/hr if exited the final corner correctly with room for few extra km before redlining
 
Time for skip this one, not so much time for it, but the tuning part is really horrible at my side, so best of luck guys with this mower ;)

A basic tune I started with:

120/110 ride height
Minimum spring rates
1/1 shock compression
1/1 shock rebound
7/7 ARBs
0/0 camber
0/0 toe
4/6 brakes
10/25/5 LSD
150/50 downforce

I don't remember the transmission settings I just used auto tune. But I will be fiddling with it to match gears to the twisty section.

@Thematic I think something went wrong with your splits, apparently your in 1st place on the leaderboard, with 2nd place 35 seconds slower than you.

I misremembered how spoiler tags work, but I fixed it. Spoiler around a quote would have worked.
 
So here's where I'm at
Using @mr_lab_rat tune, but really struggling with understeer and gearing.
I tried @Iceman220 gearing, but found it even more understeery.
Any tips? Never quite sure what gears I should be in using stock, or icemans. Tuning really isn't my thing, but what's best to combat understeer. Camber? Toe? Bit more down force?
Already really frustrated. :banghead::banghead::cheers:

At the rear, try adding a bit of negative toe (slider to left a bit). It should help with turning. Also, lower the rear RH a bit. I know there's something about the LSD, but can't remember how to get rid of under steer using it.

I just zeroed camber and rear toe, -.02 front toe. Stiffened rollbar s, then jacked up the front end, slammed the rear.. lsd set to 5/50/5 . rear aero set to lowest amount.BB 1/3 . I just did the tranny flip on the gearbox. , but that needs some work. Using 5th gear a lot. .
 
Unfortunately the game still reacts well to this extreme setup for understeery cars. I'm afraid we will all run the crazy ride height in the end.
 
Re-posting my splits to see if the decimals in my setup post is what caused the glitch on the leaderboard. :gtpflag:
