Steward's Comments:

Spectacular time by GTP_Eclipsi, and a special mention to GTP_Mignun as well.

Cheers,

OLR Team.

Important notice:
To streamline the WRS administration process, all required replays for this race must be submitted within 7 days. This thread will be listed as "Unofficial" and will become "Official" once all posted replays have been verified. After 7 days, all drivers who fail to provide a requested replay will have their lap disqualified. (Beware, disqualification isn't taken lightly within the WRS)

Replay Verification Requests:
This week we would like to see all podium replays for verification. All replays are to be posted here.

Instructions on how to upload your replay can be found here - https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showpost.php?p=3180607&postcount=2

Replay Checking:

  1. It is customary for all participants of the WRS to verify each others submitted replays
  2. Once you have checked the replay, post in this thread to say that you have checked it and whether it's clean, dirty or doesn't meet the required race specifications
  3. When verifying a replay, check against this weeks race specification, check that the tyres are the correct compound and that the power and weight is correct for example
  4. If you are unsure about a replay, always seek a second opinion before posting

Congrats to all the podiums and participants.
Really got blown away here.
Mignun, Duke and all of D1 great laps 👍

Congrats to Ramon for an awesome lap, and to all the divisional winners and podiums.
👍 to Spy and Rudi for a close contest.

1'39.995

Congratulations to all podiums, some great times once again. Although I didn't submit as I felt my time was too poor (and looking at that board I was right!!), I feel I learned a lot from the combo. Thanks Kevin for being about the only thing keeping me playing GT5p right now.

wow, that was really close. :dunce: congrats to all. 👍 👍

my replay. also close, but i checked it many times. :)

Whoa, some sensational times this week in division 1, Ramon proving he really believes he stole this car 👍

Congrats to everyone for taking part.

Dan.

(I think I'm owning this Div.2 4th spot now  )

Congrats to all who competed and podiums.👍

Some really amazing times this week, hats of to you div 1 guys, incredible job well done.

I'll post my replay as soon as I get a chance.

Some great performances, well done to Ramon, Phil, RB26DETT and Mignun for excellent divisional wins  :gtpflag:

All the best
Maz

Thank you and congratulations to the podium finishers, Rudi, spyrrari and Animera were very close. 👍

This car is easy to handle but on the curves you need to be gentle when steering or she will lose grip, the car doesn't give a good feedback about that though. Delaying the downshifts helped on reducing the brake length too.
I had some better T2's but I couldn't improve my T3.

Here's my replay:

CONGRATS to the podiums and everyone who stuck with this one this week. Clearly, I was way off the pace which always seems to be the case when a Lotus is involved. :)

Can you share your tune with us Ramon?

First of all. Congrats to all podiums. And my second one in a row. But that aint hard, when only 3 div 3 participate

I lost over (about) 1,5 second compair to the top overall finishes, in the last sector. That really hurt me. You guys are unbeliveble fast. I wish i knew what i do wrong. Probably for 80% lack of talent.

@ Tried to watch some replay's but can't unzip eclipsi, RB26DETT, DoP or Rudi's replay. Don't ask me why. I don't have this problem on the GTHQ forum. I'm sorry guys.

@2 i also just notice that eclipsi and RB26DETT, says 0 views. But i saved them on my pc.

Well it's actually pretty easy. It's just the other way then posting it.

I don't think you doin something wrong. I can't unzip them aswell. I have know idea why because the zipped replay that are posted on the GTHQ forum a can unzip en watch on my PS3 with no problem at all.

I've just tried too and I can't open any of them. Last week I had the same problem:

NielsG last week
I tried to unzip your file on 3 household computers with no luck, lbsf1.

Someone other might very well be able too do it though. Cause I also get the same error trying to un-zip dranddads file again this week.

Pretty frustrating.

I tried the combinations: winrar on XP home, winrar on Vista, 7-zip on XP Pro.

What software do you zip with?

I Finally found a fourth PC on my work (XP PRO - 7zip). Unzipped it there, zipped it again and mailed it to myself. But that workflow sucks.

That sucks because I'd like to help to check replays.

Aye. 👍

I suggest we do something serious to debug this problem once and for all. It has been an issue before, and probably will be again.

It could be nice to know what software (OS and Zipper) both the zippers and unzippers has used.

Or could it be the forum software that mess data up? Easy to check that if one of the 4 mentioned from Roomboters post mail the same file to one of us.

EDIT: Aha. Found this at another vBulletin forum with the same problem:

I finally figured out how to open the files, what I did was used IZarc, extracted the file, saved it, then added .zip to the end of the extracted file (had to change settings on computer to view full path, of known file types). then when i double clicked the renamed file, it opened without difficulty.

Extra work, when I was used to being able to view downloaded .zip files, before saving it to my computer.

Just did the same with my winRar XP-home combo. First extracting, then rename the resulting file to something.zip and unzipped again. For some reason these files seems to have been "double zipped".

Big question is why though. Is it vBulletin messing up when saving the data?

BTW. Still can't open RB26DETT file. Get an error first time I try to unzip the folder.
