Beat my other lap by .045, I knew that T3 was not good. Who knows maybe I can string them all together, if not pretty happy with this lap.

28.896
1'01.863

Edit used BB 2 7 and TC on 1. I don't think TC helps, but I have found on slower FF cars it really does not hurt. When I get stuck I start changing things. On quick cars I sometimes start messing with ABS, have no idea if it works, but sometimes I just need to think it will.

Great middle sector Mike ;) keep pushing and find where you are losing a bit of speed to T1 and your on for a great result if the last turn is being kind to you mate 👍

for the record my leaderboard screen top 4 times are separated by .003, second and third best laps are identical :P
It's quite annoying but it shows how tough it is to nail that last turn without scrubbing speed in any way as the speed loss can be devastating on a great T2 :banghead:

All good fun though... Keep pushing guys this will be a close finish all over the results methinks

Just went to archives... and yep just like that hopefully! but with my name at the top this time :D:tup:

:P

Managed this with BB 1/5 will have another go on monday

Had a .1 in t2 but lost it on the last corner

3rd gear at the top of the hill ? or 2nd ? can't tell
On entrance to the uphill I shift to 3rd gear going up and around the hill. I lift slightly at the top of the hill about mid way on track, and get my right tires on the line entering downhill and try to get on gas as quick as possible, I then shift to 4th at rev limiter coming down the hill. Get as far to the right as possible for the next left (I put 2 tires slightly in the dirt or on the curb), I tap the brakes and shift to 3rd. You want to end up over to your left by the curbing, if you do it correctly you will be on full gas before or at the apex. That turn is worth quite a few tenths if done right. For the last turn, it is feel, once it is time to start slowing down, I tap the brakes, shift to 4th, and try to stay as tight to the curb on the right and get on full gas as quickly as you can. I can vary 2 tenths on that turn depending how well I do it. Tighter in that turn is better than going too wide, you will scrub too much speed off. At least that is what I am doing.

Nice, what speed do you carry through turn 1? You seem to be the only one being able to do 28.7
Most of my laps are right around 29.0
