I was reading Boundary Layer's thread concerning Stiff Front\Soft Rear versus Soft Front\Stiff Rear and I have to say that although D1 contestants use the first suspension type, it works quite differently in GT4...in Gt4, the second type of suspension setting tends to work on many cars., whilst the first type makes them harder to drift.

LOL idk but it was kind of off topic, but back to the thread. So whats the predictions on the winner? Im thinking Tank... Or swift... but idk..

If I was a betting man I'd say BL! :)

....i dunno...
I mean, I've seen what that guy can do, and I guess he's not tooo bad. But he's been busy lately with the university thing, and I heard a rumour that he's using his DFP. lol, man does he ever suck on that....
I'd be pretty suprised it he scored anything better than a 23 or 24 out of 35.

nothing like a little pressure... :irked: thanks guys....

my money is on Ske - provided he gets a run on his DF (or a new DF) that he's happy with.

Doh, how's that for pressure?

I don't think I'll get even close in this company, but I'm competing at least... I did get a few pretty decent runs down before I ruined my driving by getting a DFP, so we'll see how it goes.... ;)

Thanks for believing in me though :dopey:

Tank you better go all out on this one.. I wanna have a good match or get owned nothing less! You too swift!! ans SKE!! everyone here better not be slackin off. We have a lot of time to do it so do it good!

lol, well it's not like I signed up with the intent of losing - I'll be drifting to the best of my ability on the DFP. But the time I've had available to do runs has been hampered by midterms in Fourier series and partial differential equations (which I write tonight), and another in stress analysis of pressure vessels and of beams under transverse loading (supposed to be last tuesday but was rescheduled until next tuesday due to heavy snowfall).

so ya.... i'll play for a little bit tonight after my midterm. But I won't have a lot of time to play until the middle of next week.

btw - I'm more than willing to host competition vids for anyone (don't worry, I won't peak).

Good luck to you guys... 👍

Video uploaded and sent.

I don't have anything that can do a pip so I just left it out, that won't hurt my entry will it?

Stop Drifting Any Turn is kinda bad unless you do all the other turns good.. So really depends...

um.... that's nice TD.... albeit extremely random...
wrong thread, perhaps database error?

Edit! ;)

5 days left, 3 videos sent (counted from the "video sent" posts, maybe more) 2 amatuers and 1 professional.

Don't let the turkey and/or football distract you from the deadline! (Nov 27)

i'm trying to get a lap pounded out right now

have 3 from this afternoon that are half-decent. I think the chosen lap is definitely going to be comprimised. But I'll keep running and see what I can fluke.

hahah im the same way.

Same here lol.. I always make one mistake.. and even if it's a tiny one it hurts the lap big time.

Still haven't decided which lap to keep.. I'll have a few runs before the deadline to see if I can do that 'perfect' lap :dopey:

Yeah now I'm making alot of progress I found a car that likes this track and does what I want it to do Edit* I hope sheron got my pm about me changing to Amateur division :)

ok, i think i have a keeper.
pretty clean, 1 section that could be improved slightly, but nothing i'll pull hair out because of.

gonna keep working at it, but I atleast know I have something solid to fall back on.

my video is uploaded and the link sent in to Sheron.

probably not a winner, but I'm curious to see what kind of score I can manage with the DFP.

good luck guys!
