I would expect the sports cars of startup companies to be absolute garbage compared to brand like Porsche and Nissan. Like the Zenvo or the Mastetta. I strongly, strongly, advise a rule against this. The thread will get out of control.

Zenvo might be a bad example, considering its car already has a TVR-esqe reputation. If they start causing flame wars, then I'll bring the ax down.

What could be a bad example is the GTA Spano because of how that is a start-up company compared to ours, yet they loan out the V10 engines from the Viper. But, I wouldn't consider the Zenvo ST1 to be a bad example yet, because one or 2 made it out of production.

this reminds me...i've forgotten to put the colors this whole time! Knight Ind. has a color matching system, you show us the color then order your car and we'll paint it to match. Otherwise from the factory they come in Black and Red...

What I do for my colors:

I look at the ships on the cruiselines' website and I look at what amenities the ship has & what destination the ship goes to (For instance, Noordam to Alaska), If i find corresponding colors for the destinations and amenities then I put them on the order list for the car.

ah, yeah that's pretty neat.the "We'll match your color" thing is mainly because I don't want to sit and look for suitable colors for more than 3 min. and partially for a good sales pitch lol

I haven't bothered with figuring out color options yet, but I might soon.

can't wait to see the 0.o faces at my concept for Geneva....(I described it to BKG you guys will know later) i will leak something about it though....We have developed at revolutionary* system to increase power

*may cause 1 in 4 engines to blow up quite quickly and catastrophically...this is currently being sorted out by my three Techies

Fission powered car?

I wonder if turbine, nuclear or hydrogen fuel cell power is allowed. :D

I'd be over that turbine all day.

like how Chrysler (i think it was them) did that Turbine Car? (cannot remember if it was actually on sale or just a concept)...i might just make one....well if it is allowed...it would prob out me under with that kind of development costs and the high prices followed by no sales....

Yeah, the Chrysler Turbine Car. 55 were built (50 production models) and all but 9 were later scrapped.

I cant remember, but it was either GM or Chrysler that did the turbine car and the car was kind of high in development costs.

The car I am developing to show at Goodwood is my low priced Radiance coupe, sedan and Wagon but I don't know when I am going to release it because it is a platform-mate to the Zaandam. I am trying to target younger buyers with the Radiance and its platform mates, the Brilliance Crossover, Serenade sportscar and the Jewel hatch just don't know when to release all four.

The Radiance is in the design phase though, but I haven't gotten around to designing the other 3 yet.

Rover, Pontiac, Chrysler, and Fiat all made turbine powered cars at some point in time (mainly the 1950s)

hey now don't make fun legro...remember u get my brand for free if i go under so if i were to (which i'm not (not saying impossible just not likely for a brand new company) the engine is not rotary. aiming for maybe 900hp in a SUV yes they may blow up quite a bit) develop that engine you would have a great asset.

edit:

  1. BKG is going to see this and go bananas lol
  2. hydrogen would seem likely as there were (maybe still are...not a big follower of Alt. Fuels) hydrogen powered cars...

I just discovered that a W9 engine exists. This is not good.

I also just discovered the Sherwin-Williams paint colors on their website. I'm going to be here awhile.

how in heck does W9 exist? W is two V engine side by side lol

and think bigger on the engine...it has to haul around armor plating (yes i know i'm leaking info i'm meaning to)

W engines can also be three banks. Four bank Ws like the Veyron's W16 seem to be the only kind currently manufactured (VW's W8 and W12 are similar), but W can also mean three banks. So a W9 is 3x3. There really needs to be a distinction between 3 and 4 bank Ws...the 4 banks are basically half a radial. A W12 could be 3 banks with 4 cylinders instead of 4 with 3. Before Bugatti made the Veyron, some of the concept cars had W18s (3x6).

Aha! I was not taking this into account...mine is like what is currently being produced....i have said too much...

A 900hp W12, 16 or 20 powering an armor-plated SUV. Interesting.

Seems like you're totally willing to drop as many hints as possible. :p

yes i am....as i have no competition in this specific area...i still have an ace up my sleeve with the Suleyk though...

Should I go ahead and post the future Radiance-class of cars when I am done with them or wait, just a question because I will have the Radiance-class done by Friday with the Radiance done by tomorrow at least because each photoshop takes about 3 hours.

Up to you, man.

My Photoshops are nothing more than a picture of a real concept car with a logo swap and color tweak.
