Wow 25 years! I want to say I have been here for either 20 or 21 years of that time. I had stopped coming here for a few years but when GT7 was first announced I came back and haven't left since then. This is probably my favorite site on the internet.

Thought I would check how long ive been signed up to the forums and it's been 15 years :dopey: used the site for a few years too.

The Silver Trophy has been unlocked, now on to the Gold Trophy!! This is one of my first communities I’ve joined since the golden web days (the other being Ars) and it’s a testament to it’s longevity that the quality of its staff and members will always prevail over whatever changes comes in the way.

If it wasn't for GTPlanet... I wouldn't have bought my first car (that I still have) nearly 18 years ago or met two of my best friends already before that, one of which helped me move into my first own house last summer and with the other I had an eight hour Discord call watching Daytona 24h last weekend, and that doesn't even include the fact that GT really became a way of life instead of just another game.

As a birthday present, I've undeleted it.

I seem to recall he had a phase of deleting his posts and on this occasion it happened in a period which meant it wasn't possible to restore the history - hence the deletion - but I reckon there's enough preserved in the quotes to keep the gist.
