As a birthday present, I've undeleted it.

I seem to recall he had a phase of deleting his posts and on this occasion it happened in a period which meant it wasn't possible to restore the history - hence the deletion - but I reckon there's enough preserved in the quotes to keep the gist.
Thank you @Famine I just guffawed!

PS That's at least one thanks you've got today ;)

Damn. Missed that it was deleted making it not visible to you.
Shame but we'll always have the memories.

I'm happy to have been a part of the community for 17 of those years. It says quite a bit that I haven't played a Gran Turismo title in over a decade and really haven't done much gaming in general the last few years yet still stop by somewhat regularly.

I made @Jordan a cake, but unfortunately I can't post a picture because it's dark outside, my camera is broken and I'm out of town right now (IYKYN ;))

Wow, I cannot believe it's been 25 years since Jordan created GTPlanet! Wow, what a huge enormous milestone. Keep rolling guys, many more years to come for us.

@Northstar Can you show us the picture of the cake when you get home? Jordan deserves some nice things for all the work he's done over these 2 and a half decades. And to all the admins too.

I've been here longer than Famine, so on that basis, I also should me admin.

Seriously, 24 years. Time does fly when you're having fun. Thanks for making this place feel like home, @Jordan
My how time has flown by these past 25 years, August will be my 5-year anniversary since I created my account here and discovered GTPlanet.

Happy anniversary. Great site and forum with wonderful members and staff!

Will the free bar and party be in the south of England by any chance? 🎉😉

Today, GTPlanet celebrates a truly unbelievable milestone: 25 years online!
Thank you so much for having this site! I am really appreciative to have a place like this I can call on a community of like minded racing gamers/freinds/countrymen and enjoy a passion well and truly devoted to our hearts!!

So glad it has been a quarter century of GTPLANET goodness and may it carry on for the next 25! I am privileged to be here for 24 of them illustroius years, giving me a fuzzy feeling of being a goldy oldie!

Probably one of the last sane corners of the internet.

I’ve been on here for 16 years of my life, I was a 14 year old knucklehead when I joined, begging for a dynamic GT5 background for the PS3’s XMB dashboard

From the GT vs Forza threads, to the death of ForzaPlanet and the hilariousness of the Assetto Corsa modding thread politics, this has been a great place.

Also, I’ve learned so much about automotive history here, especially with international perspectives!

Thanks for building something as great as this, @Jordan.

GT7 is my first GT game and it's been a blast, but I'm old enough to remember fiddling with IDE master/slave jumpers and playing Geoff Crammond's "Formula One Grand Prix" on the Amiga.

Congrats!, Happy 25th and thanks for the great content.

Don't forget the can of beans!

I'm dumbfounded honestly. While this isn't the only forum I joined, its been the only one thats kept me coming back for one reason or another. Came for the GT4 news, stayed for the amazing community that frankly I haven't found elsewhere. Weekly Race Series, Star in a Reasonably Priced Car (Memba' dat?), Photomode Comp, multiple racing leagues (Both as a host AND participant) and the many times I've watched a race while simultaneously keeping up with the threads, its been a fun time.

Here's to 25 more

15 years here for me, was lurking for bit before that though.
I'm not the most vocal of members but enjoy this place as much as everyone else !
Thanks and Congrats @Jordan ! (and everyone else that helps keeping this place going)

I’ve been registered in many forums over the years, but GTPlanet is the only one that remains.

These 25 years are an amazing achievement on its own, but honestly it doesn’t surprise me one bit, given the care, passion and dedication Jordan and everyone in the team has put into it. We can also find amazing people in this community, and I’ve always appreciated the respect for opposing views in the most controversial / important discussion topics.

I only registered in 2010 despite being a lurker for many years, and although I’m not as active as I once was, GTPlanet’s tab is permanently open on my browser. Never closed. Ever.

I wanna built a new setup sometime soon to come back to GT. That will make me visit more often.

Happy belated 25th birthday GT Planet. Never would have guessed this site was that old. Thank you guys for keeping this site up and running this. Great site for leagues and racing sim news. I learned about this site from a friend who was starting a league for GT Sport in 2018. Some time after I started running my own league as well from the site. And still do. Sorry I missed the party but, it probably have been too early for me anyways. Since I live the schedule of a vampire. Anyways thanks again for the free site. Insert party sounds here.
