I've just done a quick calc on - because it's easiest to track and see if there's any errors - the teams I'm pretty sure haven't made any swaps yet this year (I hope) and they have the following current Token Values:

I appear to have picked the most mid team ever.

Let me know if there's anything amiss with this assessment if you're on there.

Edit: Spotted one, as @DG_Silva's original squad was 12pt plus a leftover token so at the new values of 14 plus that one it should be 15.

Edit edit: I think that's all teams on there now.

I'm going for it....... @Famine can I swap out Alonso for Norris this gives me an extra token to swap chassis from Aston Martin to Mercedes please. I think this is correct.
This isn't possible as you've already used up two driver swaps - Sainz for Perez, then Perez for Verstappen.
@Famine, once you've sorted out the points for this race can you please swap Sainz with Perez for my team going forward.
Swapping Perez for Verstappen please.
For transparency purposes, I've swapped Aston Martin (4) to McLaren (3) chassis, and Ferrari (3) to Mercedes (4) engine.

No problem, I obviously didn't pay attention to that rule at the beginning.

If it is fine to still participate then I would like to change my initial submission from Monday and switch Fernando for Max. This would result in the following lineup:
D1: Verstappen (was Alonso)
D2: Piastri
Engine: Mercedes
Chassis: McLaren

Oops oh yes of course, just leave it as is please.
It's still doable though. It's just now it's a straight swap (3 for 3) rather than gaining you a spare token (3 for 2).

Yes, that's fine, but will cost you one of your two driver swaps.

Hi Famine

I would like to swap Alonso for Verstapen.

Thank you.
No problems, but it won't take effect until the Dutch GP at the end of August now.

only entries received (by PM or post in this thread) before one hour ahead of first free practice will be eligible to score in the subsequent Grand Prix
That's 1030 UTC, Friday August 25 for the Dutch GP!

May I trade out Perez for Verstappen, since I have a bonus token left over?

Man, August sucked for spare time.

Current standings with the above noted driver swaps:
1 - @Touring Mars - 934
2 - @Jimlaad43 - 924.5
3 - @Jordan - 912.5
4 - @Pupik - 903.5
5 - @Mr Grumpy - 895.5
6 - @Shaun -884
7 - @kaori - 837.5
8 - @noshog - 830.5
9 - @Miodrag - 829.5
10 - @ROAD_DOGG33J - 827.5
11 - @Fezzik - 789.5
12 - @MagpieRacer - 783.5
13 - @Roo - 765.5
13 - @zjn - 765.5
15 - @-Fred- - 764.5
16 - @DG_Silva - 763.5
17 - @Nuschel01 - 760.5
18 - @deviln3 - 748.5
19 - @PaMu1337 - 741.5
20 - @coyb20 - 733.5
21 - @Famine - 727
22 - @lilcat89 - 690
23 - @XJ40 - 655.5
24 - @Wilsonson - 160

Also of note: @Touring Mars won both Dutch and Italian GPs by a cumulative 8.5pt, but still only has a 9.5pt lead!

Now that Stroll has been terrible enough to be dropped by a couple of people at the top, there is actually a battle for victory, rather than 4 people with the exact same options

Wow. I'm surprised that I'm still in the lead, since Piastri has failed to deliver the goods thus far. I can only hope that he has more luck / improves for the remainder of the season.

Some record-breaking rounds in Singapore and Japan:

21@lilcat89830.5
22@Nuschel01817
23@XJ40767.5
24@Wilsonson306

First, Roo and zjn set a new record for the lowest points score to win a round - 66.5 - in Singapore, and Nuschel01 set a new record for the lowest points score in any round at 28.5.

Then Wilsonson set a new record for the highest points score in any round - 81.5 (two points off the maximum possible) - in Japan, as Nuschel01 then lowered his own record by half a point  That also meant a record differential of 53.5pt for a single round...

As you can see above, Japan meant four players broke through 1,000pt but the lead at the top is still just TEN points... or 1%.

Qatar this weekend will be the final race before the last Token recalculation, and you have until 1200 UTC on Wednesday October 11 to make any changes before the recalculation.

Forgive my ignorance but where did the .5 come for Mercedes engines?
Engine score is an average of the best two placed cars using that engine in any given race. That comes out with an xx.5 surprisingly often - such as whenever there's a consecutive finish; there's been 36 occasions where an engine has scored xx.5 for a given round, out of 64 possible, so a little over half the time.

In Japan the Mercedes engine scored 18.5 courtesy of Norris (19) and Piastri (18).

I'm staggered that I'm still top, despite having Piastri as my second driver and Perez not pulling his weight at RB.

Is there a summary of who has what set up for the remaining races?

This, plus what swaps everyone has left please

I guess it depends on whether the changes were made publicly in the thread or privately?

Mine have all been private 😏

Yeah, I've not posted anyone's full team line-ups in the thread and won't start now :D

I've been too busy to pay attention to this, but there's a couple of hours left until the deadline for any swaps ahead of the USGP weekend.

Not directly connected, but under FACC, Red Bull hasn't won the teams' title yet and could leave COTA still not having done so.

Currently Red Bull leads on 330pt, with Mercedes next on 223pt, and McLaren in third on 204pt, with 125pt remaining.

Mercedes can keep the title race going if it outscores Red Bull by 7pt, while McLaren only remains in the hunt if it scores a (third successive) maximum while Red Bull fails to score - and these things have happened a combined four times this season.

FACC remains better than the real thing.
