Just to let everyone know, GTPlanet got a brief write-up in the 'WebSide' section of the May issue of Sport Compact Car! They comment on our 'nerd-like' devotion to the GT series (hey, it's true! :)), and conclude by saying that this is the place to go if you need to know ANYTHING about GT...

Cool!

GTPlanet rules!

i haven't got SCC yet, their website's not up to date... what's on the cover?

Anyway, congrats Jordan for having such a good site!

I am afraid to know what it says about me, I'm glad it probably doesn't say anything.

Could you type out the text of the story?

Oh no! I don't need to know 'anything' about GT...

... I'll say goodbye then...

/shuffles off with head down, kicks can/...

;) :p

Yeah can you do that... Or better yet can you scan the page where it says this CrackHoor :)

Oh man, thank you so much for alerting me to this, CrackHoor!!! I immediately ran out the door and picked up the latest issue at Wal-Mart! Sure, enough, there it is! Oh, by the way, you were mentioned in it (by name), Tazz! :D Here's the article, I'm going to fire up the scanner and scan in the article in just a few minutes...

GT Planet
www.gtplanet.net

Obviously about half the planet is playing some version of the Gran Turismo video game at any one time. And when they're not playing GT, they're probably on this site talking about playing GT and all its incarnations. The mysterious "Jon B" turned us on to GT Planet and we found the amount of knowledge related to Grand Turismo intimidating in its nerd-like scope and obsession. When you positively, absolutely need to know something about Gran Turismo, or want to download the latest cars and variations, this is a solid place to start.

This just means so much to me for GTPlanet to be featured in a major publication such as this... I am speechless!

Jordan you misspelled site in your italics. and on a lighter note, TAZZ U RULE DUDE! :D:):):):shades::cool:

Jordan that is majorly awesome dude big congrats to you for the site:shades::cool:

Now arent you glad that I'm still around? Come on tell the truth Jordan :p

OK, guys, here's a scan of the 'Webside' section of Sport Compact Car! It's in a great position, the right hand top of the page, near the front of the magazine! :D The only thing that has me puzzled is the picture they used above GTPlanet's paragraph. What game is that from? I know it's not from GTP or any of the GT games...

Yes, of course. :)

this place got magazine recognition, and not the "obvious" GT forum... shall we party?

I say we should!

Well this should help for the New Member sign ups, at least I hope it does.

Great job Jordan, Tazz and all the members that make this Forum a great place to hang out. :) ;)

Jordan can you tell me how many people joined after this? Is it possible?

I thought I would put this in small print. Does this lead me towards a admin? :D

Just Kidding :)
