Sport Compact is how I found out about this place. I was pretty impressed by this site so I decided to join. It took me some time to sign up though, because I was starting to loose interest in GT3, but when I saw all the stuff about hybrid's and everyone else just talking about how much they love the game it sparked new enthusiasm.
Thanks to everyone for making such a great site and I hope I can help out in any way!

Welcome - I'm glad you decided to pay us a visit! :)

You know i kinda liked the fact not too many members were ever online, it made the place more homey. Which means everyone knew everyone else. Which is why everyone here is so kind. (well, most people, some are jackarasses) :)

OK, guys, here's a scan of the 'Webside' section of Sport Compact Car! It's in a great position, the right hand top of the page, near the front of the magazine! :D The only thing that has me puzzled is the picture they used above GTPlanet's paragraph. What game is that from? I know it's not from GTP or any of the GT games...

scc.jpg

Yes, of course. :)

NERD-LIKE no one here is a nerd(yet):Dbut this is pretty cool. Its good they did not talk about the crap bullet started.or saw it!!!!

Hey whats up with that screen shot of GTP. Were is that at?

How silly... "download the latest cars and variations"? I love it when journos screw up their writeups. :P

heheh, they screwed up the name of the game,
"...the amount of knowledge related to Grand Turismo intimidating in it's..."

heheh, oh well.
anyways, congrats Jordan!

Yeah, probably. hey, thanks for makin' this site so great. I'm just as curious as everyone else: where the heck is that picture from? ahh, who cares. I thought it might have been a downloadable program from here; you know, like some kind of hybriding kit.

Read through this thread and you'll see that...nobody has a clue where they got that image from!

I was wondering that myself... HK doesn't post a lot (duh, 33 posts), but he seems to come in once in a while...

Wow, I've been here since February, and it's July, and this is the first time I've ever read this thread. BTW, how come in this thread Jordan says that SCC reported it as gtplanet.com, but in the scanned article, it says gtplanet.net?

No, I didn't say that. Read my post again:

"I'd say they [GTPlanet.com] got a lot of misdirected visitors from the feature [for GTPlanet.net] in Sport Compact Car."

They probably screwed it up with "Grand Touring"

Your sig: If I can read it, I'm too close to the monitor, but here's my problem.

If I go back away from the monitor in a place where I can't read it, I can't reach my mouse.

Naturally, I bring my mouse over there, but then I can't reach the keyboard.

So I bring the keyboard over there, too, but the cord's too short.

Of course, this won't deter me. I simply pull harder on the keyboard.

Well of course as I pull harder on the keyboard, the cord pulls harder on the tower which slowly moves to the left.

This is, clearly, ominious. But I won't let it deter me from having good vision.

I finally yank hard enough so that I can reach the keyboard and the tower, of course, buckles under the pressure.

The keyboard cord snaps and the tower collapses on the monitor.

But at least I'm not sitting too close!

Ah, gotcha. Thanks for clearing that up. :)

I'm not sure, since there are movies called Nerds and such, so I don't know, I just don't want to be called a geek because I'm not, I just find wars interesting, and THAT'S why I watch the History Channel.
p.s. Did anybody see the special on Shelby? That was a great show.
