Great race today. Couldn't get into the 10's, but I'm happy with how I ran. Hope I can fix this loose in condition with some tips from Curtis(thanks dude:tup

. So, next week is the first big race? Need to start running some laps.
I feel your pain to an extent. Plenty of cars to tune once out of the rookie classes. The Jetta is supposed to be a strict class of spec racing so its driver vs. driver. I've found that running many laps and experimenting with different lines and driving styles out weighs your car set-up to a point. If you are not making smooth laps theres probably not going to be a car set-up to magically fix that. I guess what I'm saying is changing the car set-up without really knowing if the car is pushing/loose throughout the whole lap may further compomise the lap times. I found this out in the Mustang till I finally got it and now its one of my favorite cars and I'm pretty quick in it to boot.
I don't like racing FF cars, but its starting to become more fun. Takes a whole other train of thought and style to go quickly. Very challenging to say the least. Who knew a low powered car could be one of the toughest to drive competitively. Probably by the end of the season I'll love this little Jetta.
