Ahoy everyone. I thought this would be a fun little event to do while we wait for FM6. Very informal here, there's no deadline, so we can just see where we all end up. I'll be running two leaderboards, one for stock cars, and one for modified. Sounds simple enough, right? Right!

Challenge Info: ImaRobot was slowest in the NSX-R (though that's relative, as an 8:08 is still blistering for a 23-year old car), so he's moved us up a class this week, selecting the 2012 Exige S. With the Evora-sourced V6 slung out back, and with some sexy new bodywork, this is an Exige unlike any that came before. Happy hunting!

Are you accepting times which were set quite a while (1 year+) ago? If so I may have a few old times for this already.
 
Oh yes, this is exactly the kind of competition I needed to get me back into the game. Not going to be posting up a time tonight because I don't have time, but I'm gonna try and get some laps in tomorrow and see what I can do.

The RWD Abarth 500 is not great for this track, it's very unpredictable when going over bumps and an absolute nightmare when trying to stay in the Karussell so I'm not too surprised that it's almost 20 seconds off the Javelin.

I'm probably missing something obvious but is there an easy way to colour the text? At the moment I'm just quoting your post, deleting everything else and then switching to BB code editor to enter my times within the tags.

I'm rubbish with controller even on short tracks so I can only imagine it will be a disaster trying to complete a lap. Gives me a reason to play game though to see how incompetent I'll be. :lol:

There isn't on the current software, no. I just went here and found ones that are roughly equal to those in the game. Too lazy to open Photoshop.

It's a beautiful track, so you can at least enjoy that during the laps. I'm stuck with a controller for the foreseeable future sadly, but personally, anything faster than S Class gets a little nuts on the 'Ring, especially the downhill run a bit after the Karusell.

Dread messing up a lap on there hence don't really drive on it. Have also got Assetto Corsa Dream Pack and yet to run a lap on Nürburgring Nordschleife on there. I am tempted to get the Thrustmaster Ferrari 458 Spider Wheel. I would probably find the Lotus E21 most bearable with controller so probably run that although likely will have to take it slow to make it around cleanly. Reminds me though I have to do a lap with the Tomahawk X on GT6 before event closes, now that will be nuts. ;)

Exactly, so you realize how long I've been trying :lol: I'm still 8 seconds off with my fastest time :( Although I'm actually surprised that I got my fastest time with the Q50s. That car is actually amazingly fun in C and B class.
 
Geez, I thought I had some fast times! If only I had access to my Xbox, then I'd try and beat some of you guys!

You are faster than me in the E21 by about 6/7 seconds, but I dont have my TX wheel anymore. I might be able to get a fast lap done on the controller though, and I will have having a go in the E21 again at some point. I believe that my time was in a stock on though, cant remember.
