Description: We represent GTPlanet.net - see you on the track!

The idea was brought on by an Australian man after clubs were announced to be in GAS. So I decided to jump-start the idea right away, having no idea what I was doing...but at least I wanted to do something.

RULES & SUGGESTIONS:
  • Make sure you read carefully and have a clear understanding of this section.
  • You must be an active member of the GTPlanet forums before you can join. Among others, this is the main reason I've chosen to moderate recruitment.
  • No foul, abusive, or offensive language.
  • If you find that a group of people in a room are unusually loud or obnoxious, you can set the voice options to anything other than "Everyone". I'd recommend "None" myself. You do not have to interact with these people; just let them go about their business.
  • No matter how much of this you've seen anywhere else in any other game, there is to be no overly aggressive/dirty driving from us. This includes any situation where contact is involved, or where one competitor could destroy the vehicle of another (if you have full damage on).
  • You must respect the position of all other drivers whenever necessary.
  • If, during a battle, another driver makes an error, you have every right to capitalize on said error. The same applies vice versa, but I don't find it acceptable to intentionally collide with anyone, no matter what the reasoning is. Leave some room for the other driver and allow him to take the lead.
  • If you had some very close, fast and contact-free competition for your tastes but ended up not winning, you can PM the other driver(s) with the subject "gg", "gr", "good race", "nice driving", etc. as a show of respect towards him, them, or her. This is not a requirement after every race like this, but it is a nice thing to do.
  • If you own any cars, feel free to use our club's livery on it while you race with it. Simply hover over your car, hit square and then select "Racenet Club Livery".
  • As updates for GAS come, this section is subject to change, so check on them every once in a while.
  • Also, if you come up with any rules that you feel should be added, we'll consider adding them.

Want to join?
Simply post in this thread stating you would like to join and include all the information mentioned above. Regarding disciplines, you're allowed to specialize in as little or as many of them as you're comfortable with. You're not required to compete in any online events at all before you ask, "Hi, can I join?"


CUSTOM CUPS:
If you wish to host your own, it would be a wise idea to invite some of us in so we can get to know each other. If you would like to organize your own events and hold them, we have a thread where you can do just that here.

To be honest, the last sentence is enough.

I also don't have an artistic bone in my body, but in my non-artistic opinion, those crests are not...attractive. And unless we're based in Africa, you've got the wrong continent there:lol:
 
Why not just ask Jordan for permission to use the GTPlanet logo?

Can we just use the official gtplanet crest (the one at the top left of every page)? Or do we need Jordan's permission to do that?

Can't wait to get my copy tomorrow :D Will probably finish offline first before going online though.
 
Sent my application :D Man I wish they improved the loading speed of the racenet site. It's a great looking site (and much more useful the GT's site), but it's such a pain to use.

Also, we should probably think of something more interesting for the club description. Something like "GTPlanet Racing - home to clean racers of all skill levels from GTPlanet.net committed to speed and fun on the track"
