Yeah I strip them down my dad has a sand blaster so they go there first to get all the paint removed it saves my sitting there for hours sanding lolSo paint and decals? Or do you do more to it - please elaborate!
Well, the AUTOart one should be out later this year, and will most likely be a lot cheaper lol. Of course, you don't get the exclusivity of a resin when you get an AA, but at least it is 1/18 scaleI'd love to have an FrontiArt AM One-77 open, but they're sooooo expensive.
Good to know! More interested in 1:18 than frontiartWell, the AUTOart one should be out later this year,
Have never assembled a Revell model kit, but to me, Revell 1/24 model kits look a bit off-scale compared to their real-life counterparts. Just look up the Revell Mercedes SLS AMG on Google and compare it to the one Fujimi made and the car in real life, and you'll probably see what I mean. Can anyone answer me a question? I want to get back into model making, but I have become disillusioned with the quality of Tamiya, particularly the paints and the value for money. I was wondering if the Revell models are any good. Has anyone built one recently? How do they stand up to airbrush painting?
