Honestly, I'd probably keep it and leave it as is. At most maybe add some details to the interior and add better brakes.

*EDIT*
A little summary of all the 1/18 models I got this year...
37 1/18's, which beats my previous record of I think 24, by a long shot. A mix of old releases and new releases, as I decided to grab a few older models before prices shoot up.This year also saw a huge jump in the amount of resins I own, thanks to GT Spirit and Otto deciding to make a ton of cars no one had the balls to make in 1/18 before. Of those 37 1/18's, 18 of which were resin, 17 opening diecast, 1 opening plastic, and 1 sealed diecast. Ok, enough talk, how about a list of my 1/18's I bought this year:

TSM:
McLaren F1 LM (Orange)

Otto:
BMW 850CSi (Red)
Opel Lotus Omega (Dark Green)
Mercedes Benz E500 Limited (Silver)

GT Spirit:
Porsche 930 Turbo Slant Nose (Red)
Porsche 964 RWB (Red)
Porsche 964 RSR Martini (#909)
Porsche 993 Turbo (Grey)
Porsche 993 GT2 Evo (White)
Porsche 997 Speedster (Blue)
Porsche 997 Sport Classic (Grey)
BMW F80 M3 (Blue)
Lotus Exige S1 (Orange)
Ruf CTR2 (Silver)

AUTOart:
Bugatti EB110GT (Red)
Nissan Skyline GT-R KPGC10 Tuned (Black)
Alfa Romeo 4C (Red)
Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale (Red)
Mazda RX-7 Spirit R FD3S (Blue)
Lamborghini Gallardo LP560 (Orange)
Jaguar XKR (Black)
Subaru Impreza 22B STi (Blue)

Hot Wheels Elite:
Ferrari LaFerrari (Yellow)
Ferrari F355 Berlinetta (Red)
Ferrari 348TS (Red)

BBR Top Marques:
Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8 (Red)

Maisto:
Ford GT90 Concept (White)

Bburago:
Dodge Viper RT/10 (Red)

Spark:
Mazda MX-R01 Le Mans 1992 (#6)
TWR-Porsche WSC-95 Le Mans 1996 (#7)
Lancia LC2 Spa 1985 (#5)

HPI:
Porsche 962 Le Mans 1988 (#18)
Alfa Romeo 155 V6 Ti DTM 1993 (#8)

UT Models:
BMW E36 M3 GTR (White)

Norev:
GT By Citroen Concept (Red)
BMW M1 (White)

GMP:
Ferrari 312PB (Black)

As for a favorite of all of those... hard to say. I t would probably have to be 4 way tie between the TSM F1 LM, AUTOart KPGC10, GMP 312PB, and AUTOart EB110. Honorable mentions include the Spark Lancia LC2, AUTOart Alfa 33 Stradale, GTS F80 M3, GTS 964 RWB, and GTS 993 GT2 Evo. Might make another post for my 1/43 exploits later, after my final 1/43 of 2015 arrives. Anyway a pic of the 1/18 madness:

How many including smaller scales? I managed to top 46 this year.

52 if I include the 1/43 Ignition Model I have en route right now. Got 15 1/43's including that IG. Will do a separate 1/43 group shot of my 2015 additions, then a combined 1/18 and 1/43 when I get that last IG.

That is about 5x the price of my most expensive R/C anything. And while it looks awesomely detailed, I think it probably better belongs in the R/C topic :P
And I sorta want it...

Not what I bought this year but my collection thus far. Plenty of 1:43's I need to get soon and a Porsche 959 is on my to buy list for my top speed supercar set (and a xj220 when someone makes it in 1/18 i a better casting than maisto)

How much bigger will that get, I wonder? Any special purchases lined up for 2016...? :sly:
Who knows lol
Other than some pre-orders still open, I have no idea what sort of models I will be getting for 2016. Quite a few new releases and some old releases that I'd like to pick up.

@Venom800tt is that avent 1/18? It looks huge compared to the others.
Yep, it is 1/18. The AUTOart one to be exact. Granted, it is sitting next to a tiny Alfa 4C, but even so the Aventador is a large car. Yet due to the magic of carbon fiber, it is a lot lighter than the old Murc LP640. The only supercars I have comparable in size are the LaFerrari, Panoz Esperante GTR-1, and Dauer 962. The Dauer being the largest of all of my supercars.

I look at that collection and imagine how many salaries a part timer has to give up for this.

Do you write any comparison posts on external web pages like DX or DS? The idea of having one place to do comparison photos on my blog is still up in the air, but I;d be open to one or two external contributors, and seeing how many models you have, I could rely on you for 1:18 models. Interested?

Eh, I dunno, I am generally too lazy to write detailed comparisons between models, or even review them for that matter. Maybe when I am really bored I could do a few random reviews/comparisons though lol...
And it took around 19-ish years to get my collection the size it is today. I'm sure a couple models in those pics are at least 15 years old lol

Don't really need write ups. I'm too lazy to write anything myself. Really, I just use my blog as a source of info rather than a place to read during a coffee break, so what I care most about are the photos available to compare models side by side (either in a single photo or two individual photos). And if we really feel like it, we can mention distinct differences in a caption below.

I just don't have models available to take such photos, so if you're ever willing to share photos that I may post onto my blog, that'd be totally awesome. But if you'd rather not, that's cool too.

If anyone else would like to contribute to this notion, I'm all ears.

Hah, I will never sell any of my models :sly:
Speaking of my collection... here is everything in my apartment sans damaged/project cars:

Can I have them all? BTW, that collection would be worth several thousand dollars. That front row alone is worth about $3000 based on a $200 average.

Well, I might be able to do that. Though, bear in mind quite a few of my models are modified, so an accurate comparison might not be completely possible.

Hah, I dunno about that :P
And luckily I don't think those models on the first row actually average out to $200. Actually, after doing some quick and rough math, the average is around $160 for those 14 models up front lol

We can put those on hold for the time being.

Do you have a place where I can access your photos that I can link to my blog? I can probably start us off with comparison pics of a UT and GT Spirit 993.

The last 2 diecast of 2015, picked them up on 31st... :)

@Venom800tt - it was a looong wait, but finally got mine! ;)

Also M5 E39 E60 and older Mercedes AMGs?

E39 M5: Ottomobile. They had 2 separate releases, one in Avus Blue and one that looked to be Silverstone. Both are out of production, and your best bet is to find one on eBay or on the secondary market.

E60 M5: Kyosho. There are several different colors available, and one in Nurburgring Taxi color scheme. Some are in regular Kyosho boxes and some are "Dealer Edition" BMW boxes. Dealer Editions tend to be pricier on the market, and may be in a color otherwise unavailable, but details wise are the same. Out of production as well, best bet is eBay.

Pics to come, but bought my first non-touring car diecast in months, maybe a couple years, yesterday. Corgi 1:43 Bentley Continetal GT3.

Also got permission off Jordan to post this, i'm doing an ebay clear out of some of my diecasts - info here.

It's a darn shame they're 1:43s.
