Glad you like 'em guys! I've been drooling over the Porsche myself for several months and the FW14B (along with McLaren MP4/6 and Ferrari 641) is simply to beautiful to not own. I haven't picked up the 641 yet though, and hopefully Exoto will release the McLaren later this year.

I got them both for 220 bucks, so 110 each. Exoto charges too much for me to buy directly from them. By buying on eBay I got them both for less cash than the FW14B alone would have cost me through Exoto.

Btw, I should add that I'm actually a "poor" student but by doing good deals one can actually afford, even if that means eating noodles for the rest of the month (I don't, mind you) ;)

That qualifies for my first ever use of this:

Is that the £100 one?

I'm considering getting the 787B, and taking it to the Goodwood Revival - hopefully Johnny Herbert will be there again and he can sign it for me.
When I ordered it (mid 2004, I think), it was £59.99, but I got a letter saying it was now going £99.99. The only options they gave me was to pay up, or cancel. Surely if they advertise it at a certain price, I order it at that price, then they should have to honour that price. Any price increase should not be my problem. If they are unsure of the price, then they should put a price up.

I'm really pi$$ed off at Grand Prix Legends and will not be ordering from them again. I've ordered stuff in the past that took ages to arrive as the item wasn't made at the time. I didn't know that as the item was advertised in the main part of their site, not the coming soon section.

No, it's a model.

Im pretty sure that is wrong, (i did business A level). You should pay the advertised price. Im not entirely sure how, but i'd try and challenge that.

Trouble is, I think it might be a bit late now - he should've challenged it when he got the letter saying they'd put the price up, but now he's accepted it and received it, it could be too late.

Still worth looking into, I suppose.

It probably will be too late now. I did want the model...

And I still get to complain...

:D

Here is my RS200, its a rubbish photo but in the flesh it looks great, the car is set in a small cardboard enclosure inside the box, it has hills and trees painted on the sides and back and on the floor its supposed to look like a dirt track with dust flying everywhere - VERY NICE !!!
It'll look a lot nicer inside the display cabinet !

edit - I cant seem to get the picture on and its just annoyed the hell out of me. Its on photobucket and I figured just copy and paste, if I try to upload it using the options at the bottom of the post my filetype is too big - Nevermind.

Nice McLaren model.
I have a plain black version of the longtail GTR and I love it, my other McLaren model is a smaller scale and not as good as the 1/18

Looking at a diecast site that I sometimes check out, it seems AutoArt will be producing cabrio and coupe versions of the new Jag XK, anyone gonna get one cause they look nice. I might as I've got a model of the Jaguar XK180 and they'd probably look good together.

Here's the first Autoart Supra. I can't wait until the other JGTC cars are released. :)

Although it has an impressive livery, this car didn't have any impressive results to go with it; it finished a lowly 15th overall in the 2003 GT500 championship. :grumpy:

This model is a sealed models for those interested to know.

Nice, I got the #52. Looks like you're on your way dood. 👍

That third model never came so I'm disputing it at the moment... I knew it would happen. Never buy ANYTHING from NY...

I'm in the process of it but I figure I won't get it back... :grumpy:

I ordered a small puter part that amounted to $10 and oddly that never came either... it was a business and now one I won't buy from again. :grumpy:

Looks like a nice model, but if it doesn't come you should report that seller to eBay.

Yep.. already did, he'll probably be booted anyway because he's already got -1... I'm screwed because if I give him neg he'll give me a neg since he hasn't left feedback.

Same thing happened the last time I delt with NY and had to dispute.

you can reply to his negative feedback if he leaves any by saying he never sent the item. What is his feedback like cause I only tend to buy from people with 100% positive feedback.

Yeah, I was being a moron about this one because it's a really rare Viper so I dropped my guard thinking I could squeek by on this one. :grumpy:

Is that JGTC Supra sealed? Anyway, it still looks good. I especially like the back lights, and the tyres along with the rims look really good. The livery overall is quite good too, tho I'm more of a fan of that Takata Dome NSX and the Exxon Superflo Supra (or the ESSO Ultraflo Supra).

Wouldn't it be nice to have the ESSO Ultraflo Supra JGTC and the ESSO Ultraflon Toyota GTOne '99 LM 24hr (driven by Ukyo Katayama I believe, ex-F1 driver). :sly:

OK I need someone to clarify something for me, VipFreak you might be able to help on this one because it relates to the Viper.

Browsing through eBay I saw an SRT/10 Viper labelled as the Prototype version.. so whats this mean? Is this a prototype of the model before the final cast was made or is it a model of the actual full size Viper Prototype?

For me personally I'd say he just added those words to stand out and sucker someone into buying it. Unless you're a crazy collector that's anal about words I would look at anything from ebay as just an SRT/10 or whatever Viper it is. There doesn't look like a difference to me anyway.

lol That's why I'm not sure, because I've seen it mentioned on an AutoArt site as a prototype also. :dunce:

:shrugs: Ok, I guess it's just not that important to me because I can't see a prototype being that different to the production. After all prototype just means the first productions version. :dopey:

That is a nice Impreza model, but oddly enough its placed in the Solido manufacturer section and the seller states it is by AutoArt.
